Cleveland Browns Day 1 Draft Grade: (A-) Cleveland acquired an extra first-round pick from the Bills. The reason why Cleveland gets an A- grade is because they kept giving up picks just to move up like Kevin Costner in Draft Day.

Justin Gilbert is th only reliable corner in the 2014 NFL Draft. Imagine how sick the Browns’ secondary will be with a cornerback tandem featuring Joe Haden and Justin Gilbert. Now Cleveland has a formidable defense thanks to this pick.

Johnny Manziel is who the Browns were supposed to select with the fourth-overall pick. Cleveland took him later in the first-round after moving up from the 26th pick to the 22nd pick. Manziel will start out as a backup to Brian Hoyer. That is smart considering Manziel has no receivers to throw to yet.

Cleveland Browns Day 2 Draft Grade: (C+) Cleveland added an offensive lineman that can start anywhere on the offensive line. That offensive lineman is Nevada OL Joel Bitonio. Bitonio will start at left guard. In the third-round the Browns’ reached for 4-3 OLB Christian Kirksey and RB Terrence West, who will serve as a #2 back behind Ben Tate. Kirksey will have to learn how to adapt from the 4-3 to the 3-4.

Cleveland Browns Day 3 Draft Grade: (F) Cleveland only took one player on day 3 in round 4. The Browns’ should have drafted a wide receiver on day 3 of the 2014 after foolishly passing on a receiver in the day 2 of the 2014 NFL Draft.
