Holly Holm Hands Ronda Rousey First Loss

On saturday 12-0 Ronda Rousey squared off with 9-0 Holly Holm. Rousey was 28-years-old and 6 years younger than the 34-year-old Holm. You would naturally think she would win this fight.
Holm managed to survive the first round of UFC 193. Not only that, Holm stayed a distance away from Rousey.
Ronda Rousey is usually the calm one during the fights. Rousey seemed extremely pissed tonight while Holm was the calm fighter and that was what worked against Rousey as Holm packed punches from a far.
Holm drained the life out of Rousey with every punch she executed. Then a sweetly timed kick was what knocked Rousey out of the fight.
Rousey may have been the #1 Womens MMA Fighter heading into Saturday. Holm was a 19 time boxing champion in Women's Boxing prior to her career in MMA.
Rousey falls to 12-1 in Women's MMA while Holly Holm is now 10-0 in Women's MMA. I'm certain these two will have a rematch in 2016, and I think Rousey will win the rematch when that happens. We'll wait and see how Rousey reacts to this loss next year in 2016 with Holy Holm being the new UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion for MMA.
