Carolina Panthers 6-3-0
Pittsburgh Steelers 6-2-1

Game Recap: PITTSBURGH-Carolina headed to Pittsburgh. Both teams were on short rest.

Carolina opened up with 9-play 75-yard drive that lasted 4 minutes and 31 seconds. Pittsburgh tied the game on their very first offensive play when Ben Roethlisberger fired a 75-yard bomb to JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Vince Williams returned a pick 6 from Cam Newton. After that everything went downhill for Carolina. Their offensive line absolutely sucks this year with Matt Kalil on injured reserve at left tackle, Andrew Norwell on the Jaguars, and Ryan Kalil being injury prone over the years as well.

Pittsburgh won this game 52-21 due to how money Ben Roethlisberger was. Ben Roethlisberger went 22/25 with 328 passing yards, 5 passing touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. Big Ben was literally in the danger zone when you describe how precise and accurate he was when throwing the football. He threw five different touchdowns to five different receivers as well which is what made him so lethal.

Pittsburgh's offensive line did a superb job in pass protection enabling Roethlisberger to deliver a statement game against Carolina. Julius Peppers got the only sack on Roethlisberger in this contest and considering he got that sack against Pittsburgh's right tackle who filled in for injured right tackle Marcus Gilbert, I'm not as impressed with Peppers as I was with the pass protection by left tackle Andrew Villanueva, left guard Ramon Foster, center Maurkice Pouncey, and right guard David DeCastro. This was such a huge win for Pittsburgh, that Mike Tomlin smiled in the background like Mr. Burns pleased with his teams thrashing over the Carolina Panthers.

Pittsburgh has such a complete football team this year when healthy. Roethlisberger, the offensive line, the wide receivers, James Conner stepping in. The pass rushing tandem of Bud Dupree and T.J. Watt off the edge, and their cornerback depth with Joe Haden leading the way. There is a reason why this New England Patriots fan picked Pittsburgh to go to Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta.

New England Patriots 7-3-0
Tennessee Titans 5-4-0

Game Recap: TENNESSEE-Mike Vrabel was a former Patriot. Tennessee was looking for revenge on the Patriots after their playoff loss to New England in January.

I expected Tennessee to win a close one. Tennessee just came out to play and with Rob Gronkowski out and New England focused on their bye week, you could tell New England wasn't ready to play.

Tennessee led this game from start to finish. They got a big win against the two time AFC Champions which really helped their chances of closing in on a wild card spot. This game got so ugly that New England summoned Brian Hoyer off of the bench.

Wide receiver Corey Davis was my player of the game. Corey Davis had 7 receptions 125 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. Davis picked apart everyone on New England's secondary. Both cornerbacks Stephon Gilmore and Jason McCourty had problems covering Davis. Davis even got by Patrick Chung and Devin McCourty at safety on some plays. Davis did an awesome job guiding the Titans to another critical win.
