Chris Ransom Last Updated: November 26, 2018.

Chicago Bears 8-3-0
Detroit Lions 4-7-0

Game Recap: DETROIT-Mitchell Trubisky was injured. Chase Daniel would start in relief of Trubisky.

Neither team scored in the first quarter. It was 0-0 after one quarter of play.

LeGarrette Blount got a rushing touchdown on fourth and one. Detroit led 7-0. Chicago got a field goal. Detroit led 7-3 heading into the two minute warning.

Chicago got a go-ahead touchdown. Chicaog missed the two point conversion. Chicago led 9-7 at halftime.

LeGarrette Blount got a rushing touchdown. Detroit missed the two point conversion. Detroit led 13-9 after three quarters of play.

Chase Daniels threw a touchdown pass to Tarik Cohen. Chicago led 16-13 in the fourth quarter. Detroit had 13:40 left in the game to get a field goal.

Detroit got a field goal. That tied the game at 16-16.

Eddie Jackson has a pick 6 on Matthew Stafford. This is the second week in a row that Jackson had a pick 6 in the fourth quarter. Chicago led 23-16 with 6 minutes left.

Matthew Stafford attempted to drive downfield to tie the game at 23. Kyle Fuller intercepted Stafford.

Chicago won 23-16. Chicago improves to 8-3 on the season.

Eddie Jackson was my player of the game. Eddie Jackson had a game-winning pick six for the second time in five days against an NFC North opponent. Jackson helped Chicago sweep Detroit.

Washington Redskins 6-5-0
Dallas Cowboys 6-5-0

Game Recap: DALLAS-Colt McCoy would start in relief of Alex Smith. Washington also had backup guards playing for the injured Shawn Lauvao and Brandon Scherff who were on injured reserve with Alex Smith.

Ezekiel Elliott got a rushing touchdown. Dallas led 7-0 after one quarter of play.

Colt McCoy threw a touchdown to Vernon Davis. The game was tied at 7.

Dallas got a field goal. Dallas led 10-7 at halftime.

Colt McCoy threw a touchdown pass to Trey Quinn. Quinn caught a 10-yard receiving touchdown from McCoy and Washington led 13-10 after missing the extra point.

Dak Prescott threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Amari Cooper. Dallas led 17-13. Then Dak Prescott threw a 90-yard touchdown pass to Amari Cooper. Dallas led 24-13 after three quarters of play.

Dak Prescott got a rushing touchdown. That made it a 31-13 game. Dallas won 31-23.

Wide receiver Amari Cooper was the player of the game for me. Amari Cooper had 8 receptions, 180 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns for Dallas in the win over Washington. Dallas got 31 points without Tyron Smith at left tackle and without Travis Frederick at center.

Atlanta Falcons 4-6-0
New Orleans Saints 9-1-0

Game Recap: NEW ORLEANS-Atlanta did not have Devonta Freeman, Andy Levitre, Brandon Fusco, Keanu Neal, or Ricardo Allen. All five of those players were on injured reserved. Middle linebacker Deion Jones was also inactive for Atlanta.

Drew Brees threw a touchdown pass. New Orleans led 7-0;

Marcus Williams recovered a fumble from Atlanta. Drew Brees could not do anything with it and threw an interception to Atlanta safety Damontae Kazee who played cornerback at San Diego State.

Atlanta's field goal and only score of the first quarter came off that interception. New Orleans led 7-3 after one quarter of play.

Will Lutz got a field goal. New Orleans led 10-3.

Drew Brees threw a touchdown pass to Austin Carr. New Orleans led 17-3 at halftime.

Drew Brees threw another passing touchdown. New Orleans led 24-3 in the third quarter. Matt Ryan finally threw a passing touchdown to Calvin Ridley. New Orleans led 24-10 after three quarters of play.

Drew Brees threw antoher touchdown in the fourth quarter. New Orleans won 31-17.

Most are gonna give Drew Brees credit. His performance was good, but not great going 15/22 with 171 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, and 1 interception.

Marcus Williams at free safety and Cameron Jordan at 4-3 right end both really impressed me in this game. Marcus Williams forced a fumble and recoverd it. Cameron Jordan had 4 solo tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, 3 quarterback hurries, and 2 sacks. The effort of this New Orleans Saints defense is what stood out to me for New Orleans in this win.

Cleveland Browns 4-6-1
Cincinnati Bengals 5-6-0

Game Recap: CINCINNATI-Cleveland was healthier then ever heading into Cincinnati. The bye week was a blessing in disguise for the Browns. Joseph Potter, the co-host of my podcast predicted a Cleveland blowout in Cincinnati like Nostradamus.

Cleveland took control of this game very early by building a 28-7 lead heading into halftime. Baker Mayfield began his Welcome To the Jungle in the NFL with a bang by throwing all four of his passing touchdowns in the first half.

Cleveland won this game 35-20 because of Baker Mayfield’s ability to put Cincinnati away early in this contest. Baker Mayfield went 19/26 with 258 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Seattle Seahawks 6-5-0
Carolina Panthers 6-5-0

Game Recap: CAROLINA-Seattle has not had a winning record all season. Carolina is on a two game losing streak.

Graham Gano got a field goal late in the first quarter to avenge last weeks horrible outing against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. Carolina led 3-0 after one quarter of play.

Both teams traded points in the second quarter with both teams scoring ten points in the second quarter. First, Seattle tied it at 3-3 with a field goal. Then, Cam Newton threw touchdown pass to Curtis Samuel. Next, Seattle watched Chris Carson pound it in the end zone to tie the game at 10-10. Finally, Graham Gano converted a 25-yard field goal. Carolina led 13-10 at halftime.

Both teams continued to trade points in the third quarter. Russell Wilson threw a touchdown pass to Tyler Lockett. Seattle led 17-13.

Christian McCaffrey became the guy in the spotlight. He had a rushing touchdown that gave Carolina a 20-17 lead heading into the fourth quarter before Seattle tied it at 20. Then McCaffrey caught a receiving touchdown from Cam Newton. Carolina led 27-20.

Russell Wilson threw a touchdown pass to tie the game at 27. Carolina had a chance to take the lead, but they missed a field goal as Graham Gano missed a field goal for the second week in a row. Sebastian Janikowski capitalized off of this as Seattle won 30-27.

Quarterback Russell Wilson went 22/31 with 339 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Wilson got sacked by Shaq Thompson and James Bradberry. The offensive line for Seattle led by left tackle Duane Brown actually did a good job blocking for Wilson today. It wasn’t fanntastic or spectacular, still you have to credit Seattle’s offensive line to a degree for giving Wilson enough time to get Seattle back to a winning record.

My player of the game was Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett. Lockett was targeted five times and Lockett caught all 5 receptions targeted his way for 107 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. That’s my reasoning for why Tyler Lockett is the player of the game.

Jacksonville Jaguars 3-8-0
Buffalo Bills 4-7-0

Game Recap: BUFFALO-Remember when Jalen Ramsey was talking shit about Josh Allen before the start of the season. Fun times.

Buffalo won this game because Josh Allen was fueled to silence Ramsey for his comments about him before the start of the season. Josh Allen also played turnover free football going 8/19 in his first game back from an injury with 160 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, 13 carries, 99 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 259 total yards, 2 total touchdowns, and no interceptions. Buffalo won 24-21 because Josh Allen played smart and avoided turnovers. Allen and Blake Bortles both avoided 200 passing yards.

Oakland Raiders 2-9-0
Baltimore Ravens 6-5-0

Game Recap: BALTIMORE-Lamar Jackson was hoping to improve to 2-0 as a starter. Oakland was hoping to get back-to-back wins after losing to the Arizona Cardinals.

Baltimore defeated Oakland 34-17 because Lamar Jackson took more risks. Yes, Derek Carr avoided turnovers. My issue with Carr today is that he completed less passes then Lamar Jackson. Lamar took more risks, and had more interceptions.

Miami Dolphins 5-6-0
Indianapolis Colts 6-5-0

Game Recap: INDIANAPOLIS-Ryan Tannehill returned from his injury in this game. Andrew Luck was 1-4 prior to Ryan Tannehill’s injury.

Both Ryan Tannehill and Andrew Luck threw passing touchdowns on thier first possessions in the first quarter. T.J. McDonald recovered a fumble from Indianapolis later in the first quarter, but Indianapolis made a critical defensive stop forcing the Miami Dolphins to punt the football to Indianapolis. This game was tied 7-7 after one quarter of play.

Andrew Luck and Ryan Tannehill both threw a second passing touchdown in the second quarter. That made it 14-14. A series of unfortunate turnovers took place near the end of the first half. First, Andrew Luck fired an interception to Xavien Howard. Next, Mike Mitchell forced a fumble that was recoverd by Denico Autry. Finally, Andrew Luck gave us an encore of the previous play by firing a second consecutive interception to Xavien Howard. This was a special moment because it was the first time in Andrew Luck’s career where he threw back-to-back interceptions to the same player on the opossing team. This game was tied 14-14 at halftime.

Miami got a field goal and took a 17-14 lead. Adam Vinatieri missed a 48-yard field goal. Miami led 17-14 after three quarters of play.

Ryan Tannehill continued his drive from the end of the third quarter and drove the Miami Dolphins downfield. The Miami triad of Frank Gore, Kenyan Drake, and rookie Kalen Ballage really stepped up for Miami on this drive with Gore getting a 23-yard run, Ballage catching a screen pass, and Drake getting a 14-yard rushing touchdown. Miami took 4 minutes and 55 seconds off the clock and gained a 24-14 lead.

Andrew Luck rallied back despite the ten point deficit. He started with a 10-play drive that lasted 5 minutes and 10 seconds. Miami held Indianapolis to a field goal, but Andrew Luck made it a 7 point game. Miami led 24-17. After Miami went three and out, Andrew Luck got another opportunity to tie the game and did just that when he threw his third passing touchdown of the game to Eric Ebron. This was Andrew Luck’s eighth consecutive game with 3 passing touchdowns tying a record Peyton Manning set in 2004.

Miami had another three and out. Andrew Luck drove the Colts downfield for a game-winning field goal. Andrew Luck had some first half mistakes, but he was clutch as a mother like Big Ben versus Jacksonville last week which is why Indianapolis prevailed in this nailbiter between two 5-5 teams fighting for their lives to have a shot at the 2019 NFL Playoffs.

Quarterback Andrew Luck went 30/37 with 343 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Luck was reckless early in the game, but clutch as a mother down the stretch which is why he was my player of the game.

Another player who warrants an honorable mention is rookie middle linebacker Darius Leonard. I didn’t think Leonard would have the immediate success he did with the Colts, yet he’s making a very convincing case for defensive rookie of the year since he had 9 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle, 10 total tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and he held both Frank Gore and Kenyan Drake to 99 rushing yards combined which is just very freaking impressive. Darius Leonard had a badass performance in this landslide victory over the Miami Dolphins.

San Francisco 49ers 2-9-0
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-7-0

Game Recap: TAMPA BAY-Nathan Stanley faced off against Jameis Winston. I had a feeling Jameis Winston would pull it together.

Both teams played fantastic defense in the first quarter. Each team had three defensive stops six defensive stops combined. Jameis Winston’s touchdown pass to Cameron Brate was the only score in the first quarter. Tampa Bay led 7-0 after one quarter of play.

Nate Mullens threw a touchdown pass to Dante Pettis. Robbie Gould missed an extra point. Tampa Bay extended their 7-6 lead by six more points with two field goals to take a 13-6 lead heading into halftime.

San Francisco got a field goal. Tampa Bay made it a 20-9 game when Peyton Barber ran it in for a rushing touchdown. Winston got the ball and maintained a drive heading into the fourth quarter. Winston threw a touchdown to Adam Humphries as Tampa Bay won 27-9.

Tampa Bay won this game because Jameis Winston balled out today versus a San Francisco 49ers secondary that featured Richard Sherman and Ahkellow Witherspoon at cornerback. Jameis Winston went 29/38 with 312 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Winston was my player of the game for this reason.

New York Giants 3-8-0
Philadelphia Eagles 5-6-0

Game Recap: PHILADELPHIA-New York didn't have to worry about Ronald Darby, Jalen Mills, Sidney Jones, or Rodney McLeod. Philadelphia's secondary has been more depleted then I realized.

Eli Manning threw a touchdown pass to Saquon Barkley after converting a third down conversion to Rhett Ellison to set up the drive. New York decided to go for a two point conversion like Ben McAdoo. That backfired tremendously.

New York made a defensive stop. Then New York got the ball back and made a field goal. New York led 9-0 after one quarter of play.

New York made another defensive stop and the Giants rinsed and repeated what they accomplished on the previous drive by settling for another field goal. Philadelphia finally got a damn field goal, but then New York appeared to have this game under control once Saquon Barkley ran for a 51-yard rushing touchdown.

New York led 19-3 at one point and Philadelphia was able to rally back to gain a 22-19 lead before New York tied the game with a field goal. Philadelphia won 25-22 thanks to Carson Wentz playing smart and avoiding turnovers. Wentz went 20/28 with 236 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interceptions. New York fell to 3-8 following a two game winning streak while the reigning Super Bowl Champions improved to 5-6 on the year.

New England Patriots 8-3-0
New York Jets 3-8-0

Game Recap: NEW YORK-Rob Gronkowski was back for the Patriots. Also Sam Darnold was out for the New York Jets. Despite that, New York actually made this game competitive early.

Josh McCown threw a touchdown pass to Jermaine Kearse. Kearse somehow cursed Devin McCourty by making an awesome play where he ran past McCourty and made New England's best defensive back miss a tackle in order to get a touchdown.

Tom Brady threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Rob Gronkowski. New England tied the game at 7. It was 7-7 after one quarter of play.

New England took the lead with a field goal as Stephen Gostkowski made it a 10-7 game. Stephon Gilmore intercepted Josh McCown. New York made a defensive stop.

New York got a field goal and tied the game at 10. It was 10-10 at halftime.

New England got the ball to start the second half. Tom Brady put together a 15-play 76-yard drive that lasted 6 minutes and 25 seconds. New England had to settle for a field goal.

New York responded with a 12-play drive that lasted 4 minutes and 34 seconds. New York tied the game at 13.

Tom Brady threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Julian Edelman in the third quarter. New England led 20-13 after three quarters of play. Sony Michel sealed New York's fate. New England won 27-13.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was my player of the game. Tom Brady went 20/31 with 283 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Tom Brady also surpassed Peyton Manning in All Time passing yards.

Arizona Cardinals 2-9-0
Los Angeles Chargers 8-3-0

Game Recap: LOS ANGELES-The Los Angeles Chargers got Joey Bosa back. Bosa's back.

The bigger story was the dominance of Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers. Rivers completed 25 passes in a row in the 45-10 beatdown against the Arizona Cardinals. Rivers finished the day 28/29 with 259 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Pittsburgh Steelers 7-3-1
Denver Broncos 5-6-0

Game Recap: DENVER-Pittsburgh headed into Denver with the altitude after a narrow win versus Jacksonville. Denver came off a win against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Pittsburgh had momentum early. They held Denver to a three and out on their first series only to miss a field goal. Denver on the other hand got a field goal. Denver led 3-0 after one quarter of play.

Pittsburgh had a drive last 6 minutes and 37 seconds. Only to have Denver recover a fumble to negate a touchdown thanks to safety Willie Parks.

Pittsburgh eventually tied it thanks to a 9-play drive that lasted 5 minutes and 20 seconds. The Denver Broncos scored a touchdown when Case Keenum threw a passng touchdown.

Pittsburgh executed the play of the game when Chris Boswell attempted a fake field goal where he threw a touchdown pass to left tackle Alejandro Villnueva. That’s how Pittsburgh tied the game at 10-10.

Ben Roethlisberger threw a 97-yard touchdown pass to JuJu Smith-Schuster. Pittsburgh led 17-10. Pittsburgh had a chance to put this game away, but Chris Harris intercepted Ben Roethlisberger on a pass to Antonio Brown.

Case Keenum threw a touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders. That caused the game to be tied at 17-17.

Darian Stewart recovered a fumble. Denver took control of the ball as Phillip Lindsay ran it in for a rushing touchdown. Denver led 24-17.

Von Miller sacked Ben Roethlsiberger, but Ben Roethlsiberger fired a 19-yard pass to JuJu Smith-Schuster. Ben Roethlisberger threw an interception to end the game. Denver won 24-17.

I said that if Case Keenum avoided turnovers then Denver would have a chance to win. That's exactly what happened as he did just enough for Denver to barely beat out the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Running back Phillip Lindsay is my player of the game. Phillip Lindsay had 14 carries, 110 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown.

Green Bay Packers 4-6-1
Minnesota Vikings 6-4-1

Game Recap: MINNESOTA-Green Bay headed to Minnesota. This was a must win game for both teams after both teams tied back in week 2 at Lambeau Field.

Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins exchanged touchdown passes in the first quarter. This game was tied 7-7 after one quarter of play.

Aaron Jones got a rushing touchdown. Green Bay led 14-7. Kirk Cousins tied the game with another passing touchdown to Stefon Diggs. Minnesota had a chance to gain the lead, but two missed field goals by Dan Bailey caused Minnesota to be tied at halftime. The ghost of Blair Walsh and the ghost of Gary Anderson both managed to traumatize Dan Bailey in the first half.

Once Dan Bailey cooled off at halftime, he finally got Minnesota field goal goal in the second half to give Minnesota the lead. Then after a 3 and out by Minnesota, Kirk Cousins threw a touchdown to Adam Thielen.

Minnesota won 24-17. Quarterback Kirk Cousins was my player of the game. Kirk Cousins went 29/38 with 342 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Tennessee Titans 5-6-0
Houston Texans 8-3-0

Game Recap: HOUSTON-Houston lost to Tennessee in week 2. Houston lost to Blaine Gabbert which made it worse. Back then Houston was 0-2 and now they rule the AFC South at 7-3.

Tennessee took a 10-0 lead. Houston finally got a touchdown. Tennessee led 10-7 after one quarter of play.

Houston shook things up in the second quarter. Deshaun Watson's rushing touchdown allowed Houston to gain a 14-10 lead. Lamar Miller vanquished Tennesse's defense to give Houston a 21-10 lead.

Houston had this game under control and won 34-17. Deshaun Watson went 19/24 with 210 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no intercepitons. Running back Lamar MIller had 12 carries, 162 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown.

J.J. Watt owned Tennessee with 6 solo tackles, 3 assisted tackles, 9 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 1 tackle for a loss. Watt fired up teammates on the Texans as well.
