Kansas City Royals Pitch Repeat As AL Champions In 2015 ALCS

Kansas City got off to a strong start with a 3-2 lead through 7 innings. Jose Bautista tied the game at 3 in the top of the eighth inning.

A rain delay that lasted nearly an hour gave the Royals a huge advantage in the bottom of the eighth. Lorenzo Cain hit a single before first baseman Eric Hosmer hit a single where Cain ran all the way from first base to home plate.

The RBI Hosmer hit put the Royals up 4-3. Kansas City would do watch Toronto's first batter steal two bases with no outs in the top of the ninth. Despite this, Kansas City's pitcher kept his cool under pressure.

The Royals won 4-3. Kansas City will host the New York Mets in game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday Night.
