2017 Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings

- Justin Tucker, K, Baltimore Ravens
- Justin Tucker went 38/39 on field goals and 27/27 on extra points. In fact, Tucker is 166/166 on extra points in his entire career as a kicker. That's reason enough for Tucker to be the top kicker heading into this season.
- Stephen Gostkowski, K, New England Patriots
- Stephen Gostkowski came off his worst season last year. Despite that, he's still the best kicker in the NFL after Justin Tucker with some even making the case that he should still be ahead of Tucker after being the top ranked kicker in 2015.
- Matt Bryant, K, Atlanta Falcons
- Matt Bryant went 34/37 on field goals at the age of 42. Bryant also went 56/57 on extra points. Matt Bryant is now a top 3 kicker in Fantasy despite being in his 40's after a career season in 2016.
- Adam Vinatieri, K, Indianapolis Colts
- Adam Vinatieri continues to dominate. He also helped Tom Brady win his first three Super Bowls only to help Peyton Manning win his first Super Bowl. Vinatieri went 44/44 on extra points. The 44-year old Vinatieri still dominates even at his age.
- Dan Bailey, K, Dallas Cowboys
- Dan Bailey had a career low field goal percentage in 2016 at 84.8. He still went 27/32 on field goals and is 250/250 on extra points in his entire career.
- Mason Crosby, K, Green Bay Packers
- Green Bay scores in the red zone 55 percent of the time. Crosby is a top 10 kicker and a great fit for any owners looking for kickers.
- Sebastian Janikowski, K, Oakland Raiders
- Janikowski made 63 yard field goals back in the day. He's no longer a kicker that makes it from long distance. He may decline soon, but for now he's still a top 10 kicker.
- Roberto Aguayo, K, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Tampa Bay's kicker competition should be entertaining. Nick Folk versus Roberto Aguayo. I'm leaning wity Aguayo's youth over Folk's experience, but both kickers can finish in the top 10 in Fantasy points regardless of who starts.
- Jake Elliott, K, Cincinnati Bengals
- One reason Cincinnati lost games is because they didn't have a good kicker. That changed when they took Jake Elliott who hit 60-yard field goals in Mobile out of practice.
- Zane Gonzalez, K, Cleveland Browns
- Many considered Zane Gonzalez the top kicker in the draft. He fell to the seventh round, but he may do better than Jake Elliott.
- Aldrick Rosas, K, New York Giants
- Aldrick Rosas has yet to kick a field goal. He was a top 5 kicker in the 2016 NFL Draft and has dominated minicamp with the New York Giants.
- Greg Zuerlein, K, Los Angeles Rams
- Greg Zuerlein went 19/22 after going 20/30 in 2015 on field goals. Zuerlein is still a top fifteen kicker.
- Dustin Hopkins, K, Washington Redskins
- Dustin Hopkins struggled last year. I have a feeling he may rebound in 2017 though.
- Cairo Santos, K, Kansas City Chiefs
- Cairo Santos had a career high field goal percentage in 2016. That's one reason why he's a top 15 kicker.
- Matt Prater, K, Detroit Lions
- Matt Prater was a top 5 kicker in Denver before being cut. He's been a reliable asset the last two seasons in Detroit though.
- Steven Hauschka, K, Seattle Seahawks
- Steven Hauschka did well at 33/37 last year on field goals. His field goal percentage dipped below 90 percent though.
- Brandon McManus, K, Denver Broncos
- Brandon McManus performed like a top 20 kicker once again. This is a player that can make some kind of impact in Fantasy leagues.
- Graham Gano, K, Carolina Panthers
- Graham Gano is still a top 20 kicker. Last year he had a career low field goal percentage in Carolina which is why he comes in at 18 on my rankings heading into 2017.
- Will Lutz, K, New Orleans Saints
- Will Lutz actually did pretty well in his first season. He went 28/34 on field goals, made a career long 57-yard field goal, and went 49/50 on extra points. Lutz can be a top 20 kicker if he builds on that in 2017.
- Caleb Sturgis, K, Philadelphia Eagles
- Caleb Sturgis rounds out this top 20. He hit a career long 55-yard field goal. I don't expect him to get drafted, but he wraps up this list.
