The 6-1 176 Nick Malik struggled in both the Extraliga and the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the OHl. He's not an NHL starting goalie even though NHL Central Scouting has him ranked as the tenth best North American gaolie. He's probably a starting AHL goalie since he's got the floor of a backup AHL goalie, but the ceiling of a backup NHL goalie making him an ideal starting goalie in the AHL.
