Ryan Callahan dished an assist to Cedric Paquette. That gave Tampa Bay a 1-0 lead. Ondrej Palat scored antoher goal to make it a 2-0 lead. Tampa Bay led 2-0 after one period of play.


Ryan Callahan scored for Tampa Bay in the second period. Tampa Bay took a 3-0 lead. Evgeny Kutznetsov made it a 3-1 game. Tampa Bay led 3-1 after two periods of play.


Alex Ovechkin scored late to make it 3-2. Tampa Bay won 3-2 and won their third game in a row after trailing the series 2-0. Tampa Bay now controls their own destiny in the Eastern Conference after looking like they were done at one point.
