Reid Duke Assigned To Chicago Wolves

What makes Reid Duke so special? He was the first player to be signed to a contract by the Vegas Golden Knight.
After finishing the 2017 Expansion Draft and the 2017 NHL Draft it was pretty evident that Duke would be re-assigned to the AHL. Duke is someone who will have to be a leader on the Chicago Wolves moving forward.
After this season every St. Louis Blues AHL prospect on the Chicago Wolves will head on down to San Antonio. Colorado's AHL team the San Antonio Rampage will become the new affiliate of the St. Louis Blues with the Colorado Eagles in the ECHL set to be promoted to the AHL where they will be the new AHL team of the Avalanche next season.
All of this AHL relegation can be confusing. One thing is certain, the first signing in team history by the Vegas Golden Knights won't get his chance to play in the NHL unless he steps up in Chicago.
