Ryan Spooner Scores Game Winning Goal VS Montreal Canadiens

Both teams had trouble scoring in the first period. It was scoreless 0-0 after one period.
Austin Czarnik scored in the second period. Boston led 1-0 after two periods.
Paul Byron scored his tenth goal of the season in the third period. Boston and Montreal were tied 1-1 after three periods.
Boston ended up winning 2-1 in overtime thanks to Ryan Spooner. Spooner came up with a terrific goal.
Boston won 53 percent of the face offs. Held Montreal to 0/5 on the power play. Outhit Montreal 34-31. Finally, Boston won the blocked shots battle 25-8. Those were the biggest reasons why Boston won with a great defensive effort from Zdeno Chara as well.
