Corey Seager Leads Texas Rangers To Road Win In Game 3 Of The 2023 World Series

The first two innings of the 2023 World Series were scoreless. Texas Rangers second baseman Marcus Semien was eighth in runners in scoring position during the regular season. Marcus Semien got an RBI in the bottom of the second inning to give Texas a 1 to 0 lead. Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager hit a two run home run. Texas led 3 to 0 after the top of the third inning.
Max Scherzer pitched a scoreless inning in the bottom of the third inning. Texas Rangers manager Bruce Bochey pulled Max Scherzer and replaced him with Jonathan Gray.
Arizona's only run came in the bottom of the eighth where Geraldo Perdomo hit a single off of Texas Rangers set up pitcher Aroldis Chapman. Texas won 3 to 1.
Texas leads this series 2 games to 1. Arizona has to win these next two home games unless the Diamondbacks want the Texas Rangers to win the 2023 World Series in front of their home fans.
