Gavin Ceccini: A Future New York Met In The Making

New York Mets, 2012 first round pick Gavin Ceccini finally had his breakout year at shortstop in 2015. Ceccini posted a .317 batting average, 7 home runs, and 51 RBI's last season.
Ceccini was a huge reason why the Binghamton Mets made the 2015 AA Playoffs in the Eastern Division before getting swept by the Reading Fightin Phils. I think if Ceccini gets off to another strong start he could get promoted by 2017.
Ceccini has shown a lot of promise. You really have to be impressed with what he's done so far.
In 2014, the Binghamton Mets won the Eastern League in AA Baseball. Binghamton has been consistent in terms of being a farm team for the New York Mets in AA baseball. I think we will see Ceccini on Las Vegas by midseason, and by 2017, Ceccini will finally be at shortstop in between two veterans like second baseman Neil Walker and third baseman David Wright.
