Buffalo Sabres: Brandon Crawley, D, London Knights (OHL)
- Buffalo goes after Brandon Crawley. Crawley looks like a late round gem in Rounds 4-7.
Arizona Coyotes: Cameron Askew, C, Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL)
- The Arizona Coyotes spend a late round pick on a center. Cameron Askew makes a lot of sense here.
Edmonton Oilers: Mathieu Joseph, RW, Saint John Sea Dogs (QMJHL)
- Mathieu Joseph looks like he will be a good late round gem. He's a good depth player for the Oilers in the seventh round.
Toronto Maple Leafs: Lukas Jasek, RW, HC Ocelan Trinec (Extraliga)
- Toronto adds a right winger in the seventh round. Lukas Jasek makes a ton of sense here.
Carolina Hurricanes: Ryan Zuhlsdorf, D, Sioux City Musketeers (USHL)
- Carolina grabs the best player available. At this point that player is Ryan Zuhlsdorf.
Los Angeles Kings: Albin Storm, LW, Vaxjo Lakers (Elitserien)
- Albin Storm helped the Vaxjo Lakers win a Championship in the Elitserien league. The reason his stock dropped is because he failed to score a single point when I watched his tape.
Philadelphia Flyers: Peter Hansson, D, Linkopings HC (Elitserien)
- Peter Hansson was linemates with Gabriel Karlsson on Linkopings H.C. in 2014-2015. The Philadelphia Flyers need someone like this with their final selection.
Columbus Blue Jackets: Kameron Keilly, C, Charlottetown Islanders (QMJHL)
- Kameron Keilly is the only sixth round talent left in the seventh round. Columbus has to put best available player before need and take Keilly here.
San Jose Sharks: Mason Appleton, C, Tri-City Storm (USHL)
- Mason Appleton should have gone earlier than this. San Jose will be relieved if they can wrap up the 2015 NHL Draft with Appleton.
Colorado Avalanche: Matthew Freytag, LW, Tri-City Storm (USHL)
- One left winger that helped Mason Appleton score was his line mate Matthew Freytag. Freytag would be a good developmental left winger for Colorado to look at in the final round of the 2015 NHL Draft.
Florida Panthers: Jordan Ty Fournier, LW, Victoriaville Tigres (QMJHL)
- Florida goes with another left winger in the final round. Jordan Ty Fournier is last resort for teams in the seventh round.
Dallas Stars: Tanner Laczynski, RW, Chicago Steel (USHL)
- Dallas gets a right winger for depth. Tanner Laczynski would likely be a minor league player on the Texas Stars once he finishes developing.
Los Angeles Kings: Patrick Koch, D, Waterloo Blackhawks (USHL)
- After trading their sixth round pick to the Chicago Blackhawks, the Kings add a Blackhawk of their own. That Blackhawk ends up being Patrick Koch of the Waterloo Blackhawks in the United States Hockey League.
Boston Bruins: Alaxandre Fortin, C, Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL)
- The Bruins' wrap up the seventh round with a Huskie. Not a Northeastern Husky, but a Rouyn-Noranda Husky from the CHL.
Calgary Flames: Phillipe Myers, D, Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL)
- Calgary gets one more defenseman. Phillipe Myers is the top player available.
Pittsburgh Penguins: Connor Moynihan, LW, Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL)
- Pittsburgh could use this late round pick to find a left winger for the back 6. Connor Moynihan is the top player left in the seventh round. Moynihan could go as early as the fifth round. Moynihan was a line 2 left winger on the Mooseheads in 2014-2015. Once Nikolai Ehlers, a 2014 first round pick gets called up, Moynihan will be a line 1 left winger in Halifax before making the jump to the AHL when he finishes developing.
Winnipeg Jets: Kevin Conley, LW, Youngstown Phantoms (USHL)
- Winnipeg takes one more left winger here. Kevin Conley was a line 1 left winger next to 1st round center Kyle Connor. You would have to think that Conley is a steal here..
Ottawa Senators: Nick Betz, RW, Erie Otters (OHL)
- Nick Betz could be a star winger in the AHL. For now he returns to the Erie Otters where he will remain a third line right winger.
Detroit Red Wings: Cameron Hughes, C, Wisconsin
- Detroit wraps up their 2015 NHL Draft with a Big 10 skater. Cameron Hughes would be a nice addition in the seventh round.
Minnesota Wild: Brandon Lindberg, C, Sarnia Sting (OHL)
- Minnesota goes after an OHL player. Brandon Lindberg is a nice pick in the seventh round.
New York Islanders: Gabriel Slight, RW, Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL)
- Gabriel Slight may be a slight reach. Still he gives the Bridgeport Sound Tigers a right winger on the Islanders AHL team.
Winnipeg Jets: Keoni Texeira, D, Portland Winterhawks (WHL)
- The Winnipeg Jets add one more defenseman. Keoni Texeira makes a lot of sense here.
Minnesota Wild: Giorgio Estephan, C, Lethbridge Hurricanes (WHL)
- Giorgio Estephan makes a ton of sense. He's the top skater left at this point.
Nashville Predators: Kirill Pilipenko, RW, UHC Dynamo Moscow (KHL)
- Nashville could use another winger for depth. Kirill Pilipenko is the top winger left in the seventh round.
Florida Panthers: Roman Dymacek, LW, HC Kometa Brno (Extraliga)
- Roman Dymacek is one of the top European skaters from the Extraliga league in the Czech Republic. Not just that, it's vital for Florida to reload at both wing positions throughout the draft.
Montreal Canadiens: Matt Schmalz, RW, Sudbury Wolves (OHL)
- Montreal goes with a right winger here. Matt Schmalz provides fourth round potential if you are patient with Sudbury's project right winger.
Tampa Bay Lightning: Christian Jaros, D, Lulea HF (Elitserien)
- Christian Jaros could be a steal in the seventh round. Jaros provides incredible at this juncture. He'll be a stud defenseman for an AHL team and may even get called up to Tampa Bay at some point if they don't trade him.
New York Rangers: Michael Davies, LW, Kitchener Rangers (OHL)
- The New York Rangers use this pick on a Kitchener Rangers player. Once a Ranger always a Ranger until Davies gets traded or assigned to the Hartford Wolfpack in the AHL.
San Jose Sharks: Jordan Papirny, G, Brandon Wheat Kings (WHL)
- Jordan Papirny is a project goalie. The Brandon Wheat Kings keeper played with Ryan Pilon and Ivan Provorov on the blue line. Now he will be battle tested without those guys after he gets to San Jose. In a few years we could be looking at the face of the San Jose Barracuda in the AHL.
Chicago Blackhawks: Jan Dufek, RW, HC Kometa Brno (Extraliga)
- Sure Chicago is loaded at right winger. I still feel like Jan Dufek is a steal here.
