Vancouver Canucks: Maxim Velikov, LW, CSKA Moscow (KHL) 
- Vancouver needs a fourth line left winger for the future. Maxim Velikov is one of the better left wingers in Russia playing in the MHL, but he still needs to get promoted to the KHL.
- The 6-1 198 lb Maxim Velikov had 14 goals, 14 assists, and 28 points in the MHL in 2023-2024. Maxim Velikov is versatile enough to play left winger and right winger. Maxim Velikov has one more year in the MHL where he can get promoted to the KHL next season. If an NHL team drafts Maxim Velikov, he could be on an entry level contract if the team that drafts him signs him by 2025.
Chicago Blackhawks: Artyom Krikunenko, C, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl (KHL) 
- Chicago goes for value over need in the sixth round. Artyom Krikuenko is the best value pick on the board in the sixth round.
