- The 6-0 190 lb Dax Williams had 4 goals, 16 assists, 20 points, and a +18 +/- ratio in 2023-2024. Dax Williams has a shot to be a third line defenseman on the San Jose Sharks as either a number six or number five defenseman depending on if San Jose drafts another defenseman in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft making this a good final selection for San Jose to start the seventh round.
Tampa Bay Lightning: Adam Titlbach, C, Vancouver Giants (WHL)
- Tampa Bay uses this seventh round pick from Chicago to go for value over need. Adam Titlbach might be worth a flyer this late.

- William McIsaac has the speed, explosion, burst, agility, skating, foot speed, versatility, playmaking, passing, sniping, wrist shot power, wrist shot accuracy, slap shot power, and slap shot accuracy to succeed in the NHL. William McIsaac is a guy who could come up to the Vegas Golden Knights down the road in the NHL once he develops since he's got the ceiling of a first line defenseman in the AHL as a number two defenseman with the floor of a number two defenseman on the first line in the NHL.
Los Angeles Kings: Hiroki Gojsic, RW, Kelowna Rockets (WHL)
- Los Angeles goes for value over need in the seventh round. Hiroki Gojsic might warrant a flyer at this point in the seventh round.

- Utah drafts the best player available. Viggo Gustafsson is a good value pick here.
- The 6-2 192 lb Viggo Gustafsson had 3 goals, 16 assists, and 19 points on the HV71 Under 20 Team in 2023-2024. Viggo Gustafsson's +/- ratio was in the positive.
Toronto Maple Leafs: Alexei Dontsov, C, CSKA Moscow (KHL)
- Toronto uses this seventh round pick from Ottawa to draft for value over need. Alexei Dontsov is a nice addition here in the seventh round.
- The 5-8 176 lb Alexei Dontsov had 18 goals, 25 assists, and 43 points on CSKA Moscow's MHL team against kids his own age rather than men in 2023-2024. Alexei Dontsov was also the team captain of Russia's Under 16 Team in 2021-2022 and the team captain of Russia's Under 17 Team in 2022-2023.

- The 6-2 190 lb Niklas Nykyri had 3 goals, 16 assists, 19 points, and a +1 +/- ratio on Helsingfors IFK's Under 20 Team in 2023-2024. Whoever drafts Niklas Nykyri can stay in Finland until 2026 before signing his entry-level contract.
Detroit Red Wings: Quinn Kennedy, C, Rimouski Oceanic (QMJHL)
- The Detroit Red Wings draft for value here with the New Jersey Devils seventh round pick. Detroit gets a player that some have a late fifth round grade on in Quinn Kennedy.
- The 5-10 172 lb Quinn Kennedy had 21 goals, 24 assists, 45 points, and +10 +/- ratio in 2023-2024. Quinn Kennedy had 0 goals, 1 assist, and 1 point in 5 games during the 2024 QMJHL Playoffs.

- The 5-11 161 lb Carson Woodall had 6 goals, 23 assists, and 29 points on the Windsor Spitfires in 2023-2024. Carson Woodall is a good forechecker who skates effectively, but he's still got to get his +/- ratio under control.

- The 6-1 187 lb Svante Sjodin had 0 goals, 0 assists, and 0 points in 17 games with Orebro HK in 2023-2024. Svante Sjodin has had 0 points in two SHL seasons despite performing well on Orebro HK's Under 20 Team. I get more of an AHL vibe with Sjodin than an NHL vibe, but he's the best player on the board at this point, but he's under contract in the SHL until 2026, so he's got two more years to turn things around.
Pittsburgh Penguins: Chase Wutzke, G, Red Deer Rebels (WHL)
- Pittsburgh gets a goalie for the future. Pittsburgh can develop a backup goalie to Joel Blomqvist with Tristian Jarry having three years left on his contract. Red Deer Rebels goalie Chase Wutzke is the best goalie on the board at this point in the seventh round.

- The St. Louis Blues to draft for value. Robin Nico Antenen is the best player available at the halfway point of the seventh round.
- The 6-2 190 lb Robin Nico Antenen had 20 goals, 20 assists, and 40 points on EV Zug's Under 20 Team in 2023-2024. Robin Nico Antenen was EV Zug's Under 18 and Under 20 leading scorer. Robin Nico Antenen is versatile enough to play left winger, center, or right winger.
Montreal Canadiens: Marek Chaloupka, D, HC Vitkovice Riders (Extraliga)
- Montreal uses this seventh round pick from Washington to draft a defenseman. Marek Chaloupka provides great value here in the seventh round.
- The 5-11 165 lb Marek Chaloupka had 3 goals, 31 assists, and 34 points on HC Vitkovice Riders Under 20 Team in 2023-2024. Marek Chaloupka feels like a player that will end up in the AHL rather than the NHL, but that could change if he gets promoted to Extraliga in the Czech Rpublic next year.

Vegas Golden Knights: Charlie Paquette, RW, Guelph Storm (OHL)
- The Vegas Golden Knights double up at right winger. Charlie Paquette is the best right winger on the board at this point in the seventh round.
- The 6-1 192 lb Charlie Paquette had 21 goals, 14 assists, and 35 points in 2023-2024. Charlie Paquette can develop in the OHL and AHL. Toronto Maple Leafs: Vojtech Hambalek, G, HC Bili Tygri Liberec (Extraliga)
- Toronto drafts a goalie to develop for the future as a potential backup to Joseph Woll their 2016 third round pick. At the very worst, this would be a goalie with the floor of a starting goalie in the AHL and the ceiling of a starting goalie in the NHL, so that averages out to a backup goalie.
- The 6-4 203 lb Vojtech Hambalek went 16-18-0 with a 2.66 goals against average, a .922 save percentage, and 1 shutout on HC Bili Tygiri Liberec's Under 20 Team in 2023-2024. Winnipeg Jets: Roman Shokhrin, D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl (KHL)

- Adam Fortier-Gendron has the speed, explosion, burst, agility, skating, foot speed, playmaking, passing, sniping, wrist shot power, wrist shot accuracy, slap shot power, slap shot accuracy, vision, offensive awareness, defensive awareness, hockey IQ, power play ability, and penalty killing to succeed in the QMJHL. He can play all three zones. He's going to quarterback the power play while also playing a penalty killer role. There's a good reason he was a first round pick in the 2022 QMJHL Draft.
- The 6-0 192 lb Adam Fortier-Gendron had 8 goals, 20 assists, and 28 points in 2023-2024. Adam Fortier-Gendron gives Vancouver another prospect they can stash and develop on the blue line because he showed the traits to be a first round pick in the QMJHL Draft, but didn't show those traits could be at an NHL level in the QMJHL.
