Tennessee Titans: Angelo Blackson, NT, Auburn
D Grade
- Angelo Blackson gets a D grade here. The reason I feel that way is because Gabe Wright is the top defensive tackle out of Auburn.
New England Patriots: Trey Flowers, LE, Arkansas
A Grade
- Trey Flowers is extremely underrated. He got by La'El Collins on tape, plus he has the versatility to be a 4-3 right end or 4-3 left end.
Carolina Panthers: Daryl Williams, RT, Oklahoma
D+ Grade
- Daryl Williams is a right tackle at best. I'm amazed that the Panthers mortgaged nearly the remainder of their draft picks to Oakland just to get Williams.
New York Jets: Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor
C Grade
- I was the biggest Bryce Petty fan heading into the preseason. The more I watched him, the more I wondered what I was thinking when ranked him ahead of Marcus Mariota back in the preseason only to move him down on draft boards.
- There were a lot of reasons why Petty fell to Day 3. He did poorly at the Senior Bowl and poorly at the NFL Combine. Petty rebounded at his Pro Day. Jon Gruden yelled at him when he threw the ball on Gruden's QB Camp. Not just that, Petty told Steve Mariucci that he feels like there is nothing he has to change to his game.
- Petty may have succeeded if a team that took the time to develop him selected Petty. I just cannot see the Jets waiting to play Petty. Something tells me the Jets will rush Petty and that it will backfire.
Jacksonville Jaguars: James Sample, SS, Louisville
D Grade
- James Sample isn't even the best safety on Louisville. The Jaguars should have taken Gerod Holliman here.
Washington Redskins: Jamison Crowder, WR, Duke
C Grade
- Washington needs more depth at wide receiver. Jamison Crowder is a good slot receiver candidate at this point.
Chicago Bears: Jeremy Langford, RB, Michigan State
A- Grade
- Matt Forte enters a contract year. Chicago needs a #2 back for depth behind him. Langford has the potential to start for Chicago in a year if Forte leaves the Bears in 2016.
Atlanta Falcons: Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina
A- Grade
- Atlanta needed a replacement for Harry Douglas. Justin Hardy is the best receiver left.
Tennessee Titans: Jalston Fowler, FB, Alabama
C Grade
- Jalston Fowler is a draftable fullback. This feels like a reach at this point.
Indianapolis Colts: Clayton Geathers, SS, Central Florida
C Grade
- Indianapolis needed a second safety next to strong safety Mike Adams. Clayton Geathers is a solid pick, but the Colts should have gone with a free safety.
Minnesota Vikings: T.J. Clemmings, RT, Pittsburgh
A+ Grade
- T.J. Clemmings was the best player available heading into Day 3. A foot injury caused Clemmings to slip this far, and Phil Loadholt has a reason to be concerned about his job after Clemmings fell to this pick.
New England Patriots: Tre Jackson, RG, Florida State
A+ Grade
- The Patriots loved what they saw from right guard Tre Jackson. This is an awesome pick and the Patriots now have a starting right guard next to former Florida State center Bryan Stork who enters his second season as the Patriots starting center.
Washington Redskins: Arie Kouandjio, LG, Alabama
B Grade
- Washington needed to add a left guard. Arie Kouandjio is a solid pick here.
Detroit Lions: Gabe Wright, DT, Auburn
A+ Grade
- Detroit gets another Auburn Tiger to replace Nick Fairley here. Great pick with Gabe Wright here.
Miami Dolphins: Jamil Douglas, LG, Arizona State
A+ Grade
- The Dolphins needed to make an upgrade at left guard. Jamie Douglas is the top left guard left in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Clevland Browns: Ibraham Campbell, FS, Northwestern
F Grade
- Cleveland had bigger needs here. Ibraham Campbell has missed tackles on tape in the past.
Arizona Cardinals: Rodney Gunter, 3-4 RE, Delaware State
C Grade
- Arizona liked Gunter. He might be a good backup to Frostee Rucker in the five technique.
San Francisco 49ers: Blake Bell, TE, Oklahoma
C Grade
- I'm not a fan of Blake Bell. The reason this is a solid pick is because he has experience at quarterback and tight end. Bell will be a backup at tight end in the NFL.
Kansas City Chiefs: Ramik Wilson, 3-4 MLB, Georgia
A+ Grade
- Ramik Wilson is a good value pick. Smart selection by the Kansas City Chiefs.
St. Louis Rams: Andrew Donnal, RG, Iowa
C Grade
- Andrew Donnal is a solid pick here. He has the versatility to play right tackle or right guard. Iowa's right tackle began his career as a right guard before moving over to the outside.
- The Rams' drafted two other offensive tackles before taking Donnal. Iowa's right tackle will be productive as a backup right guard to Brandon Washington in St. Louis.
Cincinnati Bengals: Josh Shaw, CB, USC
D Grade
- Josh Shaw's a nickel corner at best. His off the field issues also concern me.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Doran Grant, CB, Ohio State
B Grade
- Doran Grant has the versatility to play cornerback, strong safety, or free safety. Grant is a nickel or dime corner that can convert to both safety positions. I think Grant can contribute in the right spot and I see a quality backup over the next four seasons in Pittsburgh.
Baltimore Ravens: Za'Darius Smith, 3-4 ROLB, Kentucky
B Grade
- I like Za'Darius Smith. He has a chance to be better than his teammate Alvin Dupree. Smith impressed me in the Senior Bowl and is better at dropping back into coverage than Dupree.
Cleveland Browns: Vince Mayle, WR, Washington State
A Grade
- Cleveland needed a receiver. I'm glad the Browns finally took one. It still feels like the Browns don't need one.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kwon Alexander, LOLB, LSU
C- Grade
- Tampa Bay got Bruce Carter from the Dallas Cowboys in Free Agency. I'm a little confused as to why the Cowboys traded up to get him.
Baltimore Ravens: Javorious Allen, RB, USC
C Grade
- Baltimore has Justin Forsett. Not just that, Allen isn't even the best running back left in the fourth round.
San Francisco 49ers: Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina
B Grade
- San Francisco already has Carlos Hyde and Reggie Bush with the departure of Frank Gore. All Davis will do is replace Marcus Lattimore as a third string running back.
Dallas Cowboys: Damien Wilson, MLB, Minnesota
D Grade
- Dallas already has Sean Lee and Rolando McClain. They didn't really need another middle linebacker.
Oakland Raiders: Jon Feliciano, RG, Miami FL
A+ Grade
- Jon Feliciano has the versatility to play left guard, right guard, or right tackle. Feliciano will start right away on Oakland at right guard.
Green Bay Packers: Jake Ryan, 3-4 MLB, Michigan
C Grade
- Jake Ryan has the versatility to play on both the outside and inside linebacker roles. Ryan will provide depth on the inside, but he's not a future starter.
Seattle Seahawks: Terry Poole, RT, San Diego State
B+ Grade
- Russell Okung is in a contract year and Seattle could use someone to challenge Justin Britt for the starting job at right tackle. Seattle wisely brings in an offensive tackle for depth.
New England Patriots: Shaq Mason, LG, Georgia Tech
B+ Grade
- Shaq Mason has the versatility to play left guard, center, or right guard. I think this is an awesome pick since I had the Patriots going with Mason in the third round. Mason gives New England a backup interior offensive lineman for depth that can play all 3 positions which is why I love the pick.
- Mason is capable of starting. I cannot give New England an A+ grade for getting Mason here simply because he won't start right away as a rookie.
San Francisco 49ers: DeAndre Smelter, WR, Georgia Tech
B- Grade
- DeAndre Smelter was a solid pick here. There were better receivers left.
Denver Broncos: Max Garcia, C, Florida
B+ Grade
- Max Garcia may be a bit of a reach here. Still, he fills a huge need at center with Manny Ramirez gone. Not just that, Garcia has the versatility to play every position on the offensive line.
Seattle Seahawks: Mark Glowinski, RG, West Virginia
D Grade
- Seattle needed a left guard to replace James Carpenter. Mark Glowinski is a pure right guard which is why I hate this pick.
Cincinnati Bengals: Marcus Hardison, DT, Arizona State
B+ Grade
- Marcus Hardison has the versatility to play anywhere on the defensive line. Hardison lined up at right end, defensive tackle, and left end in the 4-3. That's why I love this pick.
Baltimore Ravens: Tray Walker, CB, Texas Southern
C+ Grade
- I dislike this pick. Ozzie Newsome knows what he's doing so I won't question him this year.
