2024 NFL Mock Draft: Final Mock 7 Rounds

Round 1 Picks 1-16

Caleb Williams headlines this draft class. This NFL draft is stacked with offensive talent.

Chris Ransom follow @DraftUtopia Last Updated: April 25, 2024.

  1. Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams, QB, USC

Caleb Williams is easily the best quarterback I've seen in college football since Trevor Lawerence. Chicago traded Justin Fields to Pittsburgh meaning the Chicago Bears get their franchise guy. The 6-1 214 lb Caleb Williams transffered to USC for his sophomore season where he had 4,537 passing yards, 42 passing touchdowns, 382 rushing yards, 10 rushing touchdowns, 4,919 total yards, 5 interceptions, and a 66.6% completion percentage before winning the Heisman Trophy as the best player in College Football as a sophomore in 2022. Caleb Williams had 3,633 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, 136 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns, 3,769 total yards, 41 total touchdowns, 5 interceptions, and a 68.6% completion percentage as a junior in 2023.

Ryan Poles hugged Caleb Williams longer than Caleb hugged him at USC's Pro Day. Poles also gave Caleb Williams mother a constant handshake. This is a clear tell that the Bears are drafting Caleb Williams at 1.

Caleb Williams will have quite the supporting cast on offense with D.J. Moore as his flanker wide receiver, Keenan Allen as his secondary wide receiver after being the number one wide receiver on the Los Angeles Chargers for seven years, Cole Kmet at tight end, D'Andre Swift at running back with Khari Blasinggame at fullback. Chicago's offensive line also has Braxton Miller at left tackle, Teven Jenkins at left guard, Ryan Bates takes over at center, Nate Davis remains at right guard, and Darnell Wright enters year two at right tackle after going tenth overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Caleb Williams has a pretty good supporting cast to make an immediate impact in the NFL.

I have an 84/99 floor grade on Caleb Williams and a 99/99 max ceiling grade on Caleb Williams. Three years ago, I had an 85/99 on Trevor Lawrence coming out of Clemson, he regressed that first year under Urban Meyer before taking off in year two under Doug Pederson to get from an 84 to an 89 down the stretch before going from a 89 to a 90, 91, or 92 this year in year three with Jacksonville's play down the stretch. It may take Lawrence two more seasons to reach the ceiling many thought he had coming out of Clemson after an incredible sophomore year in 2022-2023. The bigger question is how does that affect Caleb Williams and his development?

Seattle's offensive coordinator who mentored Dave Canales at quarterback coach left Seattle to go to Chicago to coach Caleb Williams as the Chicago Bears new offensive coordinator. Caleb could dominate as a rookie since this is the best supporting cast that I've seen a rookie quarterback get since Andrew Luck got drafted by the Indianapolis Colts or Russell Wilson got drafted by Seattle in 2012. Even Robert Griffin III had a good supporting cast in Washington with Trent Williams breaking out at left tackle in year three when RGIII won rookie of the year with Silverback Williams and Mike Shanahan's legendary coaching staff at the time. The reason Luck and Griffin never lived up to their ceilings was because both GMs in Indianapolis and Washington failed to build on that supporting cast after those rookies broke out.

If you trust the Chicago Bears offensive tackles, I honestly think an argument for Chicago having the best supporting cast for a rookie quarterback since Ben Roethlisberger can be made, but Chicago's interior offensive line isn't in the same league as Pittsburgh's offensive line when they went 15-1 before winning Super Bowl 40. I believe Caleb Williams can get Chicago to Super Bowl 60 or Super Bowl 61 because I believe Caleb Williams will reach his ceiling by the end of his third year in the league which is the exact point where Patrick Mahomes reached his ceiling and won his first Super Bowl if the Chicago Bears can keep this offense in tact with so many impact players on defense whether those impact players are younger players or older players. I doubt Chicago would beat the AFC Champion, but I can see Caleb Williams making the Chicago Bears a powerhouse in an already stacked NFC North Division, but I can also see him being a bust as well.

I won't be surprised if Caleb Williams struggles as a rookie. I also won't be surprised if Caleb Williams becomes the Chicago Bears first 4,000 yard passer right out of the gate either with Seattle's offensive coordinator that coached Geno Smith the last two years because the weapons he has with Swift, Moore, Allen, and Kmet are incredible weapons to have as his offensive tackles Miller plus Wright are good, but not great yet.

I posted a film cut of USC quarterback Caleb Williams VS San Jose State. You can watch that film cut in the clip below.

  2. Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

Washington traded Sam Howell for a 2024 third round pick. Jayden Daniels is the only quarterback that Washington brought in for a top 30 visit, but Drake Maye is the favorite now to go second overall by the slimmest of margins. There's reports that Adam Peters has decided on LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels at 2.

The 6-4 210 lb Jayden Daniels had 3,812 passing yards, 40 passing touchdowns, 885 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns, 4,797 total yards, 51 total touchdowns, 4 interceptions, a 72.12 completion percentage, and a FBS best 95.7 quarterback rating which was best in the FBS in 2023. Jayden Daniels will have a good supporting cast in Washington, but it won't be as good as the supporting cast Caleb Williams has in Chicago.

Washington will have Austin Ekeler at running back, Terry McLaurin at flanker wide receiver, Jahan Dotson will be the secondary wide receiver, Olamide Zaccheaus at slot receiver, Zach Ertz at tight end, Braden Daniels at left tackle, Nick Allegretti at left guard, Tyler Biadasz at center, Sam Cosmi at right guard, and Andrew Wylie at right tackle.

I have a 81/99 floor grade on Jayden Daniels and a 97/99 ceiling grade. I had a 84/99 floor grade on Joe Burrow and a 94/99 ceiling grade on Joe Burrow which is why he was so dominant so quickly following a rough rookie season even though many had a blue chip grade on Burrow after going 15-0 and winning the Heisman at LSU. Daniels is rawer than Burrow was and if Washington doesn't improve the offensive line in day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft, I don't see Jayden Daniels developing much as a rookie despite having good weapons. Especially under offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury.

I believe Jayden Daniels will need four years of development to reach his ceiling and you have to upgrade this offensive line in order for Jayden Daniels to avoid the same fate Robert Griffin III had because Robert Griffin III had a better floor and ceiling than Daniels before peaking after his rookie season due to his injury history.

I posted a Jayden Daniels film cut versus Alabama. Jayden Daniels looked great versus Alabama.

Previous Pick: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

  3. New England Patriots: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina

Drake Maye is my second best quarterback graded ahead of Jayden Daniels. If Drake Maye is here, New England should stay at 3 and take North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye according to NFL Insider Cameron Wolfe.

The 6-4 223 lb Drake Maye had 3,608 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, 449 rushing yards, 9 rushing touchdowns, 4,057 total yards, 33 total touchdowns, 9 interceptions, and a 63.3% completion percentage in 2023. I got Drake Maye as my second best quarterback in this draft even though Drake Maye would be going to a situation where he would have the weakest supporting cast of the top 3 quarterbacks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

I have a 79/99 floor grade on Drake Maye which exactly where I had Justin Herbert in terms of floor, which is also slightly higher than where I had Justin Fields graded in terms of floor. I also have a 98/99 ceiling grade on Drake Maye. I do believe Drake Maye can be a quarterback with Justin Herbert's floor and Josh Allen's ceiling.

The thing is, Maye has a much worse supporting cast in New England compared to what Herbert got dealt at wide receiver as a rookie despite having an awful offensive line. I see Drake Maye going from a 79 to an 80 as a rookie before slowly improving to an 83 in year two where some begin to question if he's the guy before breaking out with three consecutive seasons exactly how Josh Allen developed in Buffalo.

New England fans finally have their quarterback, but Drake Maye may not break out until 2026 because we saw the same thing with Tua Tagovailoa where he didn't show people the Pro Bowl upside he had at Alabama until year 3 after Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle were both on Miami. It will most likely take Drake Maye all five years of his rookie deal to reach his ceiling, but Drake Maye has all the traits you want to reach that ceiling by year five if New England makes an actual effort to improve their supporting cast. Drake Maye can make all 6/6 progressions while Jayden Daniels can only make 5/6 progresions which is why Maye has a higher ceiling than Daniels in my opinion. He's also younger than Daniels too, so Maye is my QB2 behind Caleb Williams because of his age, longevity, and potential.

I posted a film cut of North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye VS South Carolina. You can watch that film cut in the clip below.

Previous Pick: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan

  4. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

Arizona gets a number one wide receiver for Kyler Murray. The 6-3 208 lb Marvin Harrison Jr. can run all 30 routes on the route tree giving the Arizona Cardinals a number one wide receiver for their starting quarterback.

Marvin Harrison Jr. had 77 receptions, 1,263 receiving yards, and 14 receiving touchdowns when he was a finalist for the Billetnikoff Award as a sophomore despite Jalin Hyatt winning the award when many critics argued that Marvin Harrison Jr. was more deserving of the award in 2022. Marvin Harrison Jr. had 67 receptions, 1,211 receiving yards, and 14 receiving touchdowns when winning the 2023 Billetnikoff Award while also being a Heisman finalist.

Marvin Harrison Jr. is the son of former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison. Marvin Harrison Jr. got to learn from his father at a young age and was with his dad when the Colts won Super Bowl 41 and when Marvin Harrison got inducted into the 2016 Hall Of Fame for NFL players.

I believe Marvin Harrison Jr. has a floor of 86/99 and a ceiling of 99/99. As far as projections go, I believe Marvin Harrison Jr. will have between 80 and 100 receptions as a rookie with 1,000 to 1,800 receiving yards, and 14 to 21 receiving touchdowns. He is my pick to win Offensive Rookie Of The Year with Kyler Murray getting him the football in 2024.

I posted a Marvin Harrison Jr. film cut versus Notre Dame and Penn State. Marvin Harrison Jr. dominated versus Penn State and that's the film cut I embedded into this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. Expect his rookie season to be very comparable to Ja'Marr Chase during Chase's rookie season on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Previous Pick: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia

  5. Los Angeles Chargers: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

The Los Angeles Chargers moved on from both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams There's only so much that Josh Palmer and Quentin Johnston, the Los Angeles Chargers 2023 first round pick out of TCU can do. Drafting LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers gives Justin Herbert a number one wide receiver that can take pressure off of his complimentary targets.

The 6-0 200 lb Malik Nabers had 72 receptions, 1,017 receiving yards, and 3 receiving touchdowns in his first season with quarterback Jayden Daniels in 2022. Malik Nabers had 89 receptions, 1,569 receiving yards, and 14 receiving touchdowns. Many critics believed Malik Nabers was more deserving of the 2023 Billetnikoff Award over Marvin Harrison Jr. Malik Nabers ran a 4.35 40 yard dash at LSU's Pro Day. Malik Nabers can run all 30 routes on the route tree.

I posted a Malik Nabers film cut versus Alabama. Malik Nabers dominated versus Alabama.

Previous Pick: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

  6. New York Giants: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan

The final quarterback that checked off every box for me outside of Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Jayden Daniels for me was Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy.

New York has Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, and Tommy DeVito at quarterback. None of those quarterbacks are long-term assets. The 6-3 219 lb J.J. McCarthy had had 2,991 passing yards, 22 passing touchdowns, 202 rushing yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, 3,193 total yards, 25 total touchdowns, 3 interceptions, a 72.3% completion percentage, and a 89.2 quarterback rating which was third in the FBS in 2023. J.J. McCarthy has a higher ceiling than all three of those quarterbacks, but he's also someone the New York Giants can redshirt or wait until midseason to play kind of like how Eli Manning developed under Kurt Warner. J.J. McCarthy continues to build traction, and honestly, I don't see him getting past the New York Giants at 6 with New York having the flexibility to buyout Daniel Jones following this season.

If you are the New York Giants would you rather have Rome Oduzne, the Washington receiver and the best quarterback in a god awful quarterback class in 2025 or would you rather have J.J. McCarthy and someone like Luther Burden or Evan Stewart? The latter of those two options definitely sounds more appealing to me which is why I mocked J.J. McCarthy to the New York Giants at 6.

I posted a film cut of Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy VS Ohio State. You can watch that film cut in the clip below.

Previous Pick: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

  7. Tennessee Titans: Joe Alt, LT, Notre Dame

Tennessee gets a blindside for quarterback Will Levis. The 6-9 321 lb Joe Alt dominated at left tackle during his time at Notre Dame. He also did well at the 2024 NFL Combine.

Joe Alt can pass block, run block, and zone block. The pass blocking footwork, pass blocking strength, run blocking footwork, and run blocking strength you want from a blindside at left tackle is there. Joe Alt allowed 0 sacks, 8 pressures, and finished as the top ranked offensive tackle on 406 pass blocking snaps in 2022. Joe Alt got promoted to team captain and allowed 1 sack and 5 pressures on 368 pass blocking snaps while also being a finalist for the Lombardi Trophy which goes to the top offensive lineman in 2023.

The Tennessee Titans would have Joe Alt at left tackle, Peter Skoronski at left guard, Lloyd Cushenberry at center, Daniel Brunskull at right guard, and Nicholas Petit-Frierre back at right tackle where he had more success as a rookie compared to his second season. If those five offensive linemen are healthy, the running back tandem of Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears can make big plays on the ground taking presure off of Will Levis. Drafting Alt or Fashanu is the only way to keep Will Levis from becoming a sure fire bust at quarterback because wide receivers like DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley, and Treylon Burks moving to the slot at wide receiver with Chogoziem Okonkwo at tight end isn't enough.

I posted a film cut of Notre Dame's offensive line VS Ohio State. You can watch that film cut in the clip below.

Previous Pick: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson

  8. Atlanta Falcons: Jared Verse, 3-4 ROLB, Florida State

Atlanta gets a 3-4 right outside linebacker that opposing left tackles have to account for. The 6-4 254 lb Jared Verse can give Atlanta a day 1 starter at 3-4 right outside linebacker with Arnold Ebikite complimenting the rookie Atlanta drafts at 8 at 3-4 left outside linebacker. Jared Verse is a blue chip edge rusher that can play in a 4-3 or 3-4 scheme who can rush the passer, stop the run, or drop back into coverage.

Jared Verse had 22 solo tackles, 25 asssists, 47 total tackles, 36 quarterback pressures, 17 tackles for a loss, and 9 sacks in 2022. Jared Verse had 23 solo tackles, 19 assisted tackles, 41 total tackles, 63 quarterback pressures, 12.5 tackles for a loss, 9 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery in 2023.

Previous Pick: Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington

  9. Chicago Bears: Rome Oduzne, WR, Washington

Chicago gets a third wide receiver for Caleb Williams here. D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen are good veterans to have. Rome Oduzne gives the Chicago Bears a third quality starter at wide receiver with Cole Kmet at tight end which really allows Caleb Williams to maximize his options in the passing game.

Chicago could also consider Jared Verse if he's there at 9 or even Olumuyiwa Fashanu the Penn State left tackle who protected the blindside of Caleb Williams in High School. If Rome Oduzne is on the board and Jared Verse is gone like in this mock draft, I strongly believe Chicago drafts Rome Oduzne at 9.

The 6-3 212 lb Rome Oduzne had 75 receptions, 1,145 receiving yards, and 7 receiving touchdowns in 2022. Rome Oduzne had 92 receptions, 1,640 receiving yards, and 13 receiving touchdowns in 2023. Rome Oduzne can run all 30 routes on the route tree just like Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers which is why he's in the discussion to go in the top 10 of the 2024 NFL Draft.

I posted a film cut of Washington wide receiver Rome Oduzne VS Oregon. You can watch that film cut in the clip below.

Previous Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

  10. New York Jets: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, LT, Penn State

New York gets a blindside for Aaron Rodgers. This gives New York an offensive line with Olumuyiwa Fashanu at left tackle, John Simpson at left guard, Joe Tippmann at center, Alijah Vera-Tucker at right guard, and Morgan Moses at right tackle, and Tyron Smith as a swing tackle.

Olumuyiwa Fashanu only allowed 1 quarterback hurry and 0 sacks at Penn State in 2023. Olumuyiwa Fashanu can go to a team like New York at 10 and potentially be an upgrade over the Free Agent signings that New York made on the offensive line. The pass blocking, run blocking, zone blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking strength, and run blocking footwork is there with Olumuyiwa Fashanu.

Olumuyiwa Fashanu allowed 0 sacks sacks and 10 pressures on 382 pass blocking snaps. Olumuyiwa Fashanu suffered a season ending injury in 2022 and got injured when running his first 40-yard dash at the 2024 NFL Combine. He did work out with teams before the draft, so I'm not overly worried about Olumuyiwa Fashanu's medicals.

I posted a film cut of Penn State's offensive line VS Ohio State. You can watch that film cut in the clip below.

  11. Minnesota Vikings: Laiatu Latu, 3-4 ROLB, UCLA

The Minnesota Vikings added Andrew Van Ginkel to replace Marcus Davenport at 3-4 right outside linebacker and Jonathan Greenard to replace Danielle Hunter in Free Agency. There's one blue chip pass rusher still on the board and Minnesota can start that edge rusher at 3-4 right outside linebacker while using Andrew Van Ginkel as a situational pass rusher. That pass rusher is UCLA edge rusher Laiatu Latu who can play 4-3 right end, 4-3 left end, 3-4 right outside linebacker, or 3-4 left outside linebacker with his versatility.

The 6-5 261 lb Laiatu Latu had 20 solo tackles, 3 assisted tackles, 23 total tackles, 52 quarterback pressures, 12.5 tackles for a loss, 10.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 deflection from a pass breakup in 2022. Laiatu Latu had 28 solo tackles, 21 assisted tackles, 49 total tackles, 57 quarterback pressures, 21.5 tackles for a loss, 13 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions, and 2 deflections from pass breakups in 2023.

Laiatu Latu can pressure the quarterback, stop the run, or drop back into coverage. Laiatu Latu did well against offensive tackles in the PAC 12 and validated his first round status at the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl.

Drafting Laiatu Latu to play next to Jonathan Greenard not only fixes your pass rush. You can also use Andrew Van Ginkel as a backup situational pass rusher in a role that suits him better.

Previous Pick: Jonah Elliss, 3-4 ROLB, Utah

  12. Denver Broncos: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo

Denver drafts my top ranked cornerback in the 2024 NFL Draft here. Drafting Quinyon Mitchell allows you to move your boundary cornerback Demarri Mathis who showed promise before struggling in year two into a nickel cornerback role that probably suits him better. It will be difficult to throw on Patrick Surtain II playing field cornerback and Quinyon Mitchell complimenting him at boundary cornerback.

The 6-0 195 lb Quinyon Mitchell is the only cornerback in this draft that I gave an A- grade or better to in man coverage, zone coverage, press coverage, and run stuffing. I gave Quinyon Mitchell an A grade in man coverage, an A+ in zone coverage, and an A- in press coverage, and an A- in run stuffing. He dominated the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl as well befor following that up with a very strong showing at the 2024 NFL Combine running a 4.33 40-yard dash and doing 20 reps on the bench press.

Quinyon Mitchell had 27 solo tackles, 14 assisted tackles, 41 total tackles, 20 deflections from pass breakups, and 5 interceptions in 2022. Quinyon Mitchell had 32 solo tackles, 9 assisted tackles, 41 total tackles, 18 deflections from pass breakups, and 2 tackles for a loss in 2023. Toledo won the 2022 MAC Championship and played in the 2023 MAC Championship with Quinyon Mitchell's coverage as a cornerback being a big reason why Toledo dominated the last two seasons in the MAC.

Quinyon Mitchell isn't as dominant in man coverage than Patrick Surtain II as I gave Patrick Surtain II an A+ grade in man coverage coming out of Alabama in 2021. However, Mitchell is better than Patrick Surtain II was in zone coverage and I also believe he's better in press coverage making him a perfect complimentary cornerback to Patrick Surtain II. Quinyon Mitchell has the versatility to play field cornerback, boundary cornerback, or nickel cornerback as he should be a day 1 starter at cornerback.

Previous Pick: Jared Verse, 3-4 ROLB, Florida State

  13. Las Vegas Raiders: Taliese Fuaga, RT, Oregon State

Las Vegas gets a bookend right tackle to their best offensive linemen Kolton Miller at left tackle. The 6-6 332 lb Taliese Fuaga is the right tackle on Oregon State.

Taliese Fuaga has the pass blocking, run blocking, zone blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking strength, and run blocking footwork you want from a day 1 starter at right tackle. Fuaga also dominated Laiatu Latu at the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl in the one-on-ones during practice. There were reports that Taliesa Fuaga had the best interview among every offensive tackle at the 2024 NFL Combine too.

Taliese Fuaga allowed 0 sacks, 11 pressures, 8 hurries, and 3 quarterback hits as Oregon State's right tackle in 2022. Taliese Fuaga allowed 0 sacks, 12 pressures, 10 quarterback hurries, and 2 hits over 351 pass blocking snaps in 2023.

Having Kolton Miller and Taliese Fuaga as your offensive tackles gives Aidan O'Connell a clean pocket entering year two at quarterback. Zamir White should also have more success at running back with these two offensive tackles after filling in for an injured Josh Jacobs down the stretch.

Previous Pick: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina

  14. New Orleans Saints: Tyler Guyton, RT, Oklahoma

New Orleans may need multiple upgrades at offensive tackle. Trevor Penning got benched down the stretch in year two, but will get one more chance to break out as the New Orleans Saints 2022 first round pick unless someone like Olumuyiwa Fashanu falls to this pick at 14. Ryan Ramczyk may not play this season with how bad his knee injury is. Drafting Tyler Guyton as a bookend to Trevor Penning makes a lot of sense if the top three offensive tackles Joe Alt, Olumyiwa Fashanu, and Taliese Fuaga are all off the board.

Tyler Guyton didn't allow any sacks in 2023. Tyler Guyton also dominated the 2023 Reese's Senior Bowl. There's a chance he goes a lot earlier than where he's projected to go. Alex Leatherwood was a late first to second round prospect and he went twenty first overall after a strong 2021 Reese's Senior Bowl. Trevor Penning was supposed to go in the back half of the first round, but went in the top half after a strong 2022 Reese's Senior Bowl. The same thing can be said about Tennessee right tackle Darnell Wright who went tenth overall following the 2023 Reese's Senior Bowl in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The 6-7 328 lb Tyler Guyton played right tackle at Oklahoma. Tyler Guyton has the pass blocking, run blocking, zone blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking strength, and run blocking footwork to be a blue chip right tackle in the NFL. His traits project extremely well and I won't be surprised if he goes higher than where he's projected.

Tyler Guyton played 401 total snaps and allowed 2 sacks and no hits on 191 pass blocking snaps as Oklahoma's right tackle starting five of the ten games he played in 2022. Tyler Guyton allowed 0 sacks, 12 pressures, and 3 quarterback hits on 355 snaps in 2023.

I posted a film cut of Oklahoma's offensive line VS Texas. You can watch that film cut in the clip below.

  15. Indianapolis Colts: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

Indianapolis goes a cornerback at 15. Terrion Arnold is a big upgrade over the current boundary cornerback on the Indianapolis Colts in Dallis Flowers who suffered a season ending injury in 2023.

The 6-0 189 lb Terrion Arnold had 40 solo tackles, 23 assisted tackles, 63 total tackles, 12 deflections from pass breakups, 6.5 tackles for a loss, 5 interceptions, 2 quarterback hurries, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble as a sophomore redshirt in 2023. Terrion Arnold outplayed his Alabama teammate Kool-Aid McKinstry who entered the season as the top ranked cornerback in the 2024 NFL Draft with both Alabama cornerbacks showing the versatility to play field or boundary cornerback.

I gave Terrion Arnold an A grade in man coverage, a B grade in zone coverage, an A grade in press coverage, and a B- in run stuffing. Arnold projects very similarly to the Indianapolis Colts 2023 second round pick JuJu Brents who had a an A grade for man coverage, a C grade for zone coverage, an A+ grade for press coverage, a C grade for run stuffing, a C- for blocking, an A+ for hard hitting, and an A grade for work ethic as the Colts scouts described Brents.

I'm not sure Terrion Arnold would beat out JuJu Brents for the field cornerback job in training camp. He'd start out as a very good boundary cornerback across from Brents worst case scenario. Terrion Arnold could become the Indianapolis Colts number one field cornerback if JuJu Brents deals with injuries like he did during his rookie season.

  16. Seattle Seahawks: Graham Barton, LG, Duke

The Seattle Seahawks get a left guard replacement to Damien Lewis at 16. The 6-5 313 lb Graham Barton ran a 4.84 40 yard dash at Duke's Pro Day. There's a lot of speculation that the Pittsburgh Steelers could draft him at 20 now and with the Duke left tackle having the versatiility to play all five positions on the offensive line at left tackle, left guard, center, right guard, and right tackle, I cannot see the Seattle Seahawks passing on Graham Barton at 16.

Graham Barton allowed 6 sacks and 20 pressures across 392 pass blocking snaps in his first year starting at left tackle in 2021. Graham Barton was one of two left tackles to have an 85 grade or higher in both pass blocking and run blocking in 2022. Graham Barton missed 3 games due to an injury, but Duke was undefeated until he got ruled out of Duke's contest with Notre Dame in primetime due an injury.

Graham Barton has the pass blocking, run blocking, zone blocking, pass blocking footwork, and run blocking footwork you want. His pass blocking strength and run blocking strength wasn't consistent for an NFL left tackle, but I'm under the impression that gets cleaned up if Seattle drafts Graham Barton as their starting left guard.

Seattle would have Charles Cross at left tackle, Graham Barton or Laken Tomlinson at left guard, Olu Oluwaitimi at center, Anthony Bradford Jr. or Tremayne Anchrum at right guard, and Abraham Lucas at right tackle with George Fant, Houston's right tackle in 2023 for insurance at right tackle. This is a much better offensive line for quarterback Geno Smith and running back Kenneth Walker III. Even the backups, Zach Charbonnet at running back and Sam Howell at quarterback may see success in this offense.
