Cincinnati Bengals 2016 NFL Draft Grades

Morgan Epstein grades the Cincinnati Bengals 2016 NFL Draft. Does Cincinnati have a bright future after drafting William Jackson III with the twenty fourth pick in the 2016 NFL Draft?

24. William Jackson III, CB, Houston B Grade

William Jackson III will begin the season as a nickel cornerback to Dre Kirkpatrick and Adam Jones. With Jackson in the nickel, Cincinnati will have more depth on their secondary.

55. Tyler Boyd, WR, Pittsburgh B Grade

Tyler Boyd can be a slot receiver in Cincinnati. A.J. Green and Brandon LaFell are expected to start on the outside. Boyd is expected to start out in the slot.

87. Nick Vigil, ROLB, Utah State F Grade

Nick Vigil is listed as a third string right outside linebacker. Vigil played middle linebacker at Utah State and I doubt he can make the transition to outside linebacker so I'm giving this pick an F grade.

122. Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor B Grade

Andrew Billings is listed as a backup to Domata Peko for depth. This was a solid pick by the Bengals that deserved a B grade.

161. Christian Westerman, LG, ASU B Grade

The Bengals needed a left guard for depth behind Clint Boling. Arizona State left guard Christian Westerman fits the bill at this pick.

199. Cody Core, WR, Ole Miss C Grade

Cody Core is the #5 receiver on Cincinnati's depth chart. Core was a great find by the Bengals in the sixth round.

245. Clayton Fejedelem, SS, Illinois F Grade

Clayton Fejedelem is a third string strong safety. He doesn't have much room to grow on this roster.

Cincinnati Bengals Team Grade: B Grade

Cincinnati gets a few solid role players that will make early impacts. The Bengals also drafted for depth. Hopefully these players are the missing pieces to help them win a playoff game.
