Game Recap: SEATTLE-William Yanish wrote this game recap. I will have condensed recaps on a short week with the Hollidays coming up.

The Rams opened the game with a marathon 11-play drive that ate up over five minutes of clock. Kyren Williams was the workhorse, touching the ball six times on the drive. However, the drive stalled at the Seattle 39-yard line when a virtual measurement ruled Williams just inches short on a critical 4th-and-1.

Seattle wasted no time capitalizing on the turnover on downs. On just the third play of their drive, Sam Darnold floated a screen pass to Kenneth Walker III, who weaved through the secondary for a massive 46-yard gain down to the Rams' 5-yard line.

Two plays later, Zach Charbonnet hammered it up the middle for a 4-yard touchdown, giving Seattle the early lead. Seattle led 7-0.

The Rams managed to answer before the quarter ended. After Stafford connected with Puka Nacua to cross midfield, the Seattle defense stiffened in the red zone, forcing a 23-yard field goal by Harrison Mevis. Seattle led 7-3 after the opening quarter.

The second quarter was defined by the Rams' ability to sustain long drives while Seattle's offense began to sputter with several three-and-outs. Early in the quarter, the Rams faced a 4th-and-2 from the Seattle 5-yard line. They initially looked to go for it but took a delay of game penalty. They settled for another short 28-yard field goal from Mevis to pull within one point. Seattle led 7-6.

With 3:43 left in the half, Matthew Stafford orchestrated a surgical 78-yard drive. Mixing efficient runs with quick strikes, he eventually found tight end Terrance Ferguson for a 3-yard touchdown—the Rams' first trip to the end zone. Los Angeles led 13-7.

Seattle tried to mount a two-minute drill response before the break, but a Cooper Kupp fumble recovered by Cobie Durant ended the threat. The Rams ran out the remaining clock to head into the locker room with the momentum and the lead. Los Angeles led 13-7 at halftime.

On the opening drive of the quarter, Kenneth Walker III found a hole on the right side and sprinted 55 yards for a touchdown, momentarily silencing the Rams' momentum. Seattle led 14-13.

Matthew Stafford remained unfazed, leading a drive highlighted by a 48-yard bomb to Xavier Smith. While the defense held near the goal line, Harrison Mevis knocked through a 41-yard field goal to put L.A. back on top. Los Angeles led 16-14.

Disaster struck for Seattle late in the quarter when Sam Darnold was intercepted by Josh Wallace, who returned it to the 1-yard line. Blake Corum punched it in on the next play. Los Angeles led 23-14 after three quarters of play.

The Rams looked to have sealed the win early in the 4th when Stafford found Puka Nacua for a 1-yard touchdown, extending the lead to 16 points. Los Angeles led 30-14.

With 8:03 remaining, Rashid Shaheed breathed life into Lumen Field with a 58-yard punt return touchdown. Sam Darnold then hit Cooper Kupp for a 2-point conversion to make it a one-score game. Los Angeles led 30-22.

After a quick defensive stop, Darnold threw a 26-yard TD pass to AJ Barner. On the tying 2-point try, a deflected pass was ruled a lateral on review; Zach Charbonnet scooped it up in the end zone to tie the game in fashion. This game was tied 30-30 after four quarters of play.

The Rams won the toss but Seattle deferred, choosing to kick off. Stafford continued his career day, eventually finding Puka Nacua for a 41-yard touchdown to take the lead. Los Angeles led 37-30.

Seattle marched back down the field, and Sam Darnold hit Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a 4-yard score. Rather than playing for a tie, Coach Mike Macdonald went for the win. Darnold found Eric Saubert wide open for the successful 2-point conversion. Seattle won 38-37.

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III was the player of the game. Kenneth Walker III had 11 carries, 100 rushing yards, 3 receptions on 3 targets, 64 receiving yards, 14 touches, 164 receiving yards, and 1 rushing touchdown.

Game Recap: WASHINGTON-Philadelphia headed to Washington. Philadelphia would clinch the NFC East Division with a win. Due to time constraints these game recaps will be quicker.

Philadelphia won 29-18. Philadelphia won the NFC East Division.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was my player of the game. Saquon Barkley had 21 carries, 132 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown in the win.

Game Recap: CHICAGO-Green Bay headed to Chicago. Whoever won this game would gain control over the NFC North Division.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love got injured and did not return to the game. Chicago recovered an onside kick and scored to force overtime.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams threw a game-winning touchdown pass to Chicago Bears flanker wide receiver D.J. Moore. Chicago won 22-16.

Chicago Bears left tackle Ozzy Trapilo was my player of the game. Ozzy Trapilo kept the Green Bay Packers from getting any sacks on Caleb Williams.

Game Recap: CAROLINA-Tampa Bay and Carolina were playing for the lead in the NFC South Division. Whoever won this game had control of first place in the NFC South Division.

This game went back and fourth. Carolina won a defensive game in the end with their rookie strong safety intercepting Baker Mayfield on the final drive.

Game Recap: CLEVELAND-Buffalo headed to Cleveland. Josh Allen and James Cook were coming off a road win against New England.

Buffalo won 23-20. Cleveland did enough to cover, but not enough to prevail.

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook was my player of the game. James Cook had 16 carries, 117 rushing yards, 1 reception on 2 targets, 17 receiving yards, 17 touches, 134 total yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns.

Game Recap: DALLAS-Los Angeles headed to Dallas. Los Angeles needed to win to continue their grip on the AFC wild card spot while this was a win or go home game for Dallas as a loss eliminates the Dallas Cowboys from playoff contention.

Los Angeles destroyed Dallas 34-17. The Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams are both now 11-4.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was my player of the game. Justin Herbert went 23/29 with 300 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, 42 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 342 total yards, 3 total touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. Justin Herbert won player of the game for the third time this season tying Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, and Trevor Lawrence for third most among quarterbacks behind Matthew Stafford and Drake Maye.

Game Recap: NEW ORLEANS-New York headed to New Orleans. New Orleans wore their gold uniforms which needs to be the norm.

New Orleans won in blowout fashion 29-6. New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough gets an honorable mention. Tyler Shough went 32/49 with 308 passing yards, 8 rushing yards, 316 total yards, 1 passing touchdown, and 0 interceptions or incompletions.

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave was my player of the game. Chris Olave had 10 receptions on 16 targets, 148 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns.

Game Recap: NEW YORK-Minnesota headed to New York. Both of these teams were out of the playoff hunt.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy left this game with an injury. Minnesota won 16-13.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Gardner Minshew II left this game injured and did not return. Tennessee won 26-9.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward was my player of the game. Cam Ward went 21/28 with 228 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 0 interceptions.

Game Recap: MIAMI-Cincinnati heads to Miami. This was Quinn Ewers first career NFL start after Tua Tagovailoa got benched.

Cincinnati destroyed Miami 45-21. Cincinnati joins San Francisco as the only team to see both their starting quarterback and backup quarterback win player of the game.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow won player of the game. Joe Burrow went 25/32 with 309 passing yards, 6 rushing yards, 315 total yards, 4 passing touchdowns, and 0 interceptions.

How many teams have had a quarterback win player of the game once this season? The entire AFC North Division outside of the Cleveland Browns, the entire AFC South Division, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills, Drake Maye of the New England Patriots, the entire AFC West Division outside of the Las Vegas Raiders, the entire NFC North Division, the entire NFC South Division outside of the Atlanta Falcons, the entire NFC East Division outside of the New York Giants, Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers and Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams.

This leaves Cleveland, Miami, the New York Jets, Las Vegas, Atlanta, the New York Giants, Arizona, and Seattle. Seattle is 13-2, they have Sam Darnold in year one of a big contract and drafted Jalen Milroe in the third round to develop behind Darnold. Cleveland will probably give Shedeur Sanders another season. If Mike McDaniel stays in Miami, I'd have to believe Quinn Ewers gets a full season as the starting quarterback. Atlanta will remain in quarteback pergatory with Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix Jr. as he recovers from his torn ACL. The New York Giants spent a first round pick on Jaxson Dart. Arizona has Kyler Murray and Jacoby Brissett both under contract for next season. I trust Murray, but do not trust Brissett if the plan is to deal Murray a new quarterback will need to be drafted either in 2026 or 2027.

This leaves the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders as the teams that will need new quarterbacks. The Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers could enter this conversation too depending on what happens with their quarterbacks in 2026.

Game Recap: ARIZONA-This was a meaningless afternoon game. Both teams were eliminated from the playoff race.

Atlanta defeated Arizona 26-19. Atlanta continues their winning streak ruining the draft position of the Los Angeles Rams 2026 first round pick.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson was my player of the game. Bijan Robinson had 16 carries, 76 rushing yards, 7 receptions on 7 targets, 92 receiving yards, 23 touches, 168 total yards, and 1 receiving touchdown.

Game Recap: DENVER-Jacksonville headed into Denver. This was a big game as Denver had a chance to separate themselves from Jacksonville in the race for the one seed.

That's not what happened though. Jacksonville ended Denver's consecutive home game winning streak. Jacksonville won 34-20.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was my player of the game. Trevor Lawrence went 23/36 with 279 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, 20 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 299 total yards, 4 total touchdowns, and 0 interceptions.

Game Recap: DETROIT-Pittsburgh headed to Detroit. This felt like an elimination game for both teams.

Pittsburgh Steelers flanker wide receiver D.K. Metcalf got suspended two games for punching a Detroit Lions fan. Pittsburgh won 29-24.

Game Recap: HOUSTON-Las Vegas headed to Houston. Houston needed to win this game to stay in the AFC South race.

This game went back and forth with the Raiders keeping this one close. Houston won 23-21.
