2016 NFL Mock Draft: 7 Rounds

Round 6

Mark Sciubba Last Updated: April 22, 2016.

  1. Cleveland Browns: Ronald Blair, 3-4 LE, Appalachin State

Blair has versatility to help the Browns D in more way than one.

  2. Los Angeles Rams: Bryce Williams, TE, East Carolina

dd>Rams get a Tight End for their new franchise QB to grow with.

  3. San Francisco 49ers: Josh Ferguson, RB, Illinois

49ers get some key depth behind Carlos Hyde.

  4. San Diego Chargers: Keith Marshall, RB, Georgia

Marshall can compliment last years first round pick Gordan nicely.

  5. Minnesota Vikings: Deon Bush, SS, Miami FL

Deon Bush is a great pick at this point in the draft.

  6. Jacksonville Jaguars: Briean Boddy-Calhoun, CB, Minnesota

Calhoun fits into Jacksonville’s scheme perfectly.

  7. Baltimore Ravens: Brian Poole, CB, Florida

Ravens' secondary needs young players to develop under the established starters.

  8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Matt Ionnidis, DT, Temple

Ioannidis we be a great backup DT for the Bucs.

  9. New York Giants: Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State

Giants are hoping they're taking their QB of the future with this pick. Hackenberg provides competition for current backup Ryan Nassib, their 2013 fourth round pick, who showed some promise in the Giants' blowout loss to the Vikings. Worst case scenario is they get a few solid performances out of Hackenberg and use him as trade bait assuming he wins the backup job from Nassib which I think he can.

  10. Chicago Bears: Anthony Zettel, 3-4 LE, Penn State

Chicago gets another quality defensive addition to their roster.

  11. Miami Dolphins: Kevin Hogan, QB, Stanford

Dolphins need to bring in someone to push Tannehill. Hogan is the perfect man for the job, awkward delivery and all.

  12. Washington Redskins: Quinton Jefferson, 3-4 RE, Maryland

Washington gets a pass rusher for depth. Quinton Jefferson was a 6-2 292 lb 4-3 defensive tackle at Maryland where he played on both sides at DT. He has the size of a 5-technique player and with his versatility could be an immediate starter across from Paea.

  13. Philadelphia Eagles: Justin Bell, RG, Ole Miss

Eagles get Bell here who has the potential to be a starter for a long time because of his versatility. He's a natural right guard, but he has started all 3 positions on the interior offensive line which his why he has potential to start long-term.

  14. Dallas Cowboys: Nick Kwiatkoski, MLB West Virginia

Dallas lucks out to get Kwiatkoski at this point in the draft.

  15. Los Angeles Rams: Marquez North, WR, Tennessee

Marquez North has all the physical tools to be a number 1 receiver. With the right coaching he could become one for Ram's new franchise QB.

  16. Detroit Lions: Kevon Seymour, CB, USC

The Lions secondary has been a problem for years now. Adding a quality DB prospect late in the draft is a must for Detroit.

  17. Buffalo Bills: DeMarcus Ayers, WR, Houston

Buffalo needs to double down on receivers considering the contract situations of a majority of their receivers.

  18. Tennessee Titans: Stephen Weatherly, 3-4 ROLB, Vanderbilt

Weatherly can provide quality depth for the Titans that they lack.

  19. Oakland Raiders: Aaron Green, RB, TCU

With this selection Raiders could have one of the most complete RB cores in the NFL.

  20. Houston Texans: Joe Schobert, 3-4 ROLB, Wisconsin

Joe Schobert is a great pick for any team at this point in the draft.

  21. New England Patriots: Tavon Young, CB, Temple

If Tavon was slightly taller he'd be a mid round pick. Pats get a steal here.

  22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jared Norris, MLB, Utah

Tampa bay gets a linebacker with the athletic ability to back up all 3 spots in their 4-3 defense.

  23. San Diego Chargers: Glenn Gronkowski, FB, Kansas State

San Diego continues to make a splash with this pick taking Gronks littler brother as a FB/TE hybrid.

  24. Cincinnati Bengals: Andy Janovich, FB, Nebraska

Cincinnati uses a late round selection to get the best blocking FB in the draft.

  25. Green Bay Packers: Tra Carson, RB, Texas A&M

Carson is one of the most underrated players in the draft in my opinion and can push Lacy.

  26. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jacoby Brissett, QB, North Carolina State

Brissett can be a solid back up for the Jags.

  27. Detroit Lions: Bralon Addison, WR, Oregon

Detroit adds a receiver to help ease the pain of losing Megatron.

  28. Kansas City Chiefs: Ricardo Louis, WR, Auburn

Chiefs add more Wide Receiver talent in the 6th round.

  29. New England Patriots: Chris Moore, WR, Cincinnati

Patriots get more receiving talent for Brady's last few runs at a Super Bowl.

  30. Arizona Cardinals: Devon Cajuste, WR, Stanford

Cajuste is a bit of a hybrid. Arians will find a way to utilize him.

  31. Chicago Bears: DeAndre Houston-Carlson, FS, William & Mary

Chicago continues the rebuild of of their defense.

  32. San Francisco 49ers: D.J. Foster, WR, Arizona State

49ers take advantage of value here and get Kapernick some help.

  33. New England Patriots: Wendell Smallwood, RB, West Virginia

New England grabs another offensive weapon.

  34. Baltimore Ravens: James Cowser, 3-4 ROLB, Southern Utah

Cowser to the Ravens is a perfect fit.

  35. Detroit Lions: Jeff Driskel, QB, Louisiana Tech

GM Quinn made it clear he wants to draft a QB every year Driskel has tools to work with.

  36. San Francisco 49ers: Harlan Miller, CB, Southeastern Louisiana

Miller drops to here for his shockingly slow 40.

  37. Dallas Cowboys: Keyyarris Garrett, WR, Tulsa

Dallas gets Romo another big prototypical receiver.

  38. San Francisco 49ers: Evan Boehm, C, Missouri

Boehm is a steal here for the 49ers and they need offensive line help.

  39. New England Patriots: Caleb Benenoch, RT, UCLA

Belichick will create as much competition as possible on the Offensive Line after last year.

  40. Seattle Seahawks: Alonzo Russell, WR, Toledo

Russell has potential to become one of Wilson's favorite targets.

  41. Dallas Cowboys: Willie Beavers, LT, Western Michigan

Dallas gets a great backup in Beavers..

  42. Dallas Cowboys: Derek Watt, FB, Wisconsin

Dallas takes Watt hoping he can make their run game even better.

  43. Buffalo Bills: Dominick Jackson, RG, Alabama

Buffalo needs a quality backup at guard. Jackson could replace Miller as the starter at RG.

  44. Denver Broncos: Marshaun Coprich, Illinois State

Denver adds a running back for depth and future purposes.

  45. Pittsburgh Steelers: Fabian Moreau, CB, UCLA

Steelers need all the secondary help they can get. They take another swing for the fences with Moreau.

  46. New England Patriots: Miles Killebrew, FS, Southern Utah

New England being New Engkand here and getting a great player who has fallen in the draft. Backup free safety Tavon Wilson from the 2012 NFL Draft is no longer on the roster and Killebrew can take his place. He should thrive as Devin McCourty's understudy.
