Washington Redskins Day 2 Draft Grade (C): Washington reached for Trent Murphy. Thing is he could become a more effective backup than Lorenzo Alexander. Alexander filled in for Brian Orakpo in 2012 when Orakpo was injured and Washington made the playoffs the same season. Washington should have took Morgan Moses in round 2. Adding Spencer Long to solidify the right side of the offensive line was a solid move.
Washington Redskins Day 3 Draft Grade: (C+) Washington made three awesome picks to begin day 3 of the 2014 NFL Draft. Brashaud Breeland will make a solid dime cornerback on the depth chart behind DeAngelo Hall, David Amerson, and Tracy Porter. Amerson has made outstanding progress this off-season and is projected to start ahead of free agent signing Tracy Porter. Ryan Grant and Lache Seastrunk will battle for roster spots on offense. Why did Washington take Ted Bolser when Xavier Grimble was still available? The Redskins drafted a kicker even though they have a solid starter in Kai Forbath.
