Indianapolis Colts field cornerback Julius Brents, now known as JuJu Brents returned from his injury which kept him out in week 2 after playing in week 1 and had his first career fumble recovery. Indianapolis got the ball back thanks to the rookie cornerback from Kansas State. Scott Hanson of NFL Red Zone called JuJu Brents a safety, so my question is are the Colts lining Brents up at safety?

Game Recap: CLEVELAND-Tennessee has everyone healthy this week except for Peter Skoronski their best offensive lineman at left guard. Tennessee might make this game with a fully healthy defense. Cleveland will not have Nick Chubb at running back for the rest of the season or Greg Newsome II their 2021 first round pick at cornerback. Both Jerome Ford the backup running back and Cameron Mitchell, one of the Cleveland Browns 2023 draft picks that was drafted as a cornerback out of Northwestern both make their first NFL starts today. Dawand Jones gets Harold Landry instead of T.J. Watt in his second career NFL start after a strong training camp and preseason.

Deshaun Watson began this game 5/5 with 41 passing yards. He had a flea flicker play turned screen pass to Elijah Moore which was his most notable play. Cleveland Browns kicker Dustin Hopkins made a field goal. Cleveland led 3-0.

Cleveland got the ball back after a defensive stop. Tennessee Titans boundary cornerback Sean Bunting-Murphy recoverd a fumble after stripping the football from Elijah Moore.

Myles Garrett sacked Ryan Tannehill on third down. Myles Garrett is literally making Andre Dillard and Ryan Tannehill look like his inmates at a prison facility and outside of aiming a helmet at Mason Rudolph in 2019, his track record in the NFL is absolutely flawless.

Deshaun Watson threw a twenty five yard completion to Amari Cooper. Dustin Hopkins made a 52 yard field goal. Cleveland led 13-3.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chris Moore made a huge catch thanks to a Cleveland Browns cornerback dropping an interception that resulted in a deflection turned reception thanks to Chris Moore a no name wide receiver on the Titans being in the right place at the right time.

Myles Garrett sacked both Tennessee Titans left tackle Andre Dillard and Tennesee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Tennessee needs to move Peter Skoronski to left tackle when he comes back from his injury as Tennessee's 2023 first round pick played left tackle at Northwestern, but plays left guard on the Titans. Nicholas Petit-Friere is suspended for three more weeks after today before the Titans bye week in week 7. Cleveland led 13-3 at halftime.

Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford got a rushing touchdown. Cleveland led 20-3 after three quarters of play.

Deshaun Watson threw a touchdown pass to Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper on a medium to deep pass. Cleveland won 27-3.

Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford had a rushing and receiving touchdown. He will get an honorable mention in his debut as an NFL starter, but that's it since he failed to lead the Browns in rushing yards while having under 100 total yards.

Game Recap: DETROIT-Cordarrelle Patterson and Clark Phillips III are injured, but Atlanta's boundary cornerback Jeffrey Okudah is back with the Falcons only injuries at third string running back and nickel cornerback. Detroit won't have starting running back David Montgomery, starting left tackle Taylor Decker, starting right guard Halapoulivaati Vaitai, boundary cornerback Emmanuel Moseley, strong safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson whose out for the year, and free safety Kerby Joseph are all inactive for Detroit. Jahmyr Gibbs, the Detroit Lions first of two 2023 first round picks is making his first career NFL start at running back in week 3.

Game Recap: GREEN BAY-New Orleans will not have Foster Moreau their backup tight end. Kendre Miller is back from his knee injury after backup running back Jamaal Williams got placed on injured reserve. Miller only has to start one game before Alvin Kamara returns from his suspension next week. New Orleans defense is fully healhty, and Carl Granderson got extended. Green Bay doesn't have running back Aaron Jones their lead running back, wide receiver Christian Watson the number one wide receiver, left tackle David Bahktiari, left guard Elgton Jenkins, their number one cornerback Jaire Alexander, or their number two cornerback Eric Stokes.

Green Bay Packers 3-4 right end Kenny Clark sacked Derek Carr on thrid down. Kenny Clark made me pay for switching my prediction from Green Bay to New Orleans.

Graham did the Lambeau Leap after scoring on the Green Bay Packers. New Orleans led 7-0.

My friend Mitch Pabst, a Saints fan said Taysom Hill had more snaps than Jameis Winston at quarterback, but Derek Carr wouldn't return to the game. New Orleans led 17-0 after three quarters of play.

Green Bay Packers kicker Anders Carlsson made a field goal. Green Bay trailed 17-3.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love ran for a rushing touchdown. Green Bay went for two as Jordan Love threw a two point conversion to Green Bay Packers wide receiver Samari Toure who was wide open who caught it for a two point conversion. New Orleans led 17-11.

Green Bay made a defensive stop. Green Bay put together a 9 play 80 yard drive that lasted two minutes and twenty seven seconds. Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw a touchdown pass to Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs. Green Bay led 18-17.

New Orleans had a chance to win the game. Their kicker missed the game-winning field goal. Green Bay made me look foolish for switching my prediction and rallied back down 17-0 in the fourth quarter. Green Bay won 18-17.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was my player of the game. Jordan Love went 22/44 with 259 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, 39 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 298 total yards, 2 total touchdowns, and 1 interception. Jordan Love has 8 total touchdowns and 1 interception in his first three games and he pulled off an 18 point fourth quarter comeback down 17 to 0 without his starting running back, without his best wide receiver, without his blindside at left tackle, and without his best guard on the offensive line. Green Bay's top two cornerbacks were also ruled inactive and Jordan Love still found a way to execute a fourth quarter comeback.

Game Recap: JACKSONVILLE-Houston will have four of their five starting offensive linemen inactive for the second week in a row. Houston also placed their best cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. or their best safety Jalen Pitre. Jimmie Ward might be a game-time decision too now. Jacksonville doesn't have Zay Jones at wide receiver, but every other starter outside of Cam Robinson whose still suspended for two more weeks is healthy.

Trevor Lawrence overthrew a pass on third down. Jacksonville kicked a field goal, but Brandon McManus missed the field goal attempt.

Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce got a rushing touchdown. Houston led 7-0 after one quarter of play.

Jamal Agnew fumbled the ball. He's nothing more than a return specialist that's the only value Agnew brings to a franchise, yet he happens to be the slot receiver in three wide receiver sets with Zay Jones still injured. Houston recovered this fumble.

Houston got Jimmie Ward back at strong safety, but Jimmie Ward had a defensive pass interference penalty. Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby got his second career rushing touchdown. Houston led 17-7.

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Brandon McManus made a field goal. Houston led 17-10.

Houston Texans fullback Andrew Beck fumbled the kickoff return, picked up the football, and returned the kickoff for a touchdown. Houston led 24-10 after three quarters of play.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw a touchdown pass to Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk. Houston led 27-17.

C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown pass to Houston Texans wide receiver Nathaniel "Tank" Dell. Houston led 34-17.

Houston got one more field goal to add insult to injury as the Houston Texans have now won their last two contests in Jacksonville. Houston won 37-17.

You can make a case for Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud drafted second overall out of Ohio State, Houston Texans rookie edge rusher Will Anderson Jr. drafted third overall out of Alabama, or Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Nathaniel "Tank" Dell as the player of the game Houston's 2023 third round pick who Stroud told the Texans to draft as the player of the game.

C.J. Stroud went into Jacksonville and won without four of his five offensive lineman going 20/30 with 280 passing yards, 14 rushing yards, 292 total yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Nathaniel "Tank" Dell had 5 receptions on 7 targets, 145 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. Nathaniel Dell known by more as Tank Dell made a case for player of the game over C.J. Stroud since he went over 100 receiving yards while Stroud didn't quite hit 300 total yards despite having 0 turnovers.

It's a team effort. Since Stroud told the Texans to draft Nathaniel "Tank" Dell, both Stroud and Dell equally warant of the game consideration since Stroud told Caserio who to draft. Will Anderson Jr. blocked a field goal, but he failed to sack Trevor Lawrence which is why Stroud and Dell are most deserving for player of the game honors.

After careful consideration, I'm going with Nathaniel "Tank" Dell as my player of the game. Stroud has played incredible when you consider that he has yet to throw an interception despite having 3 offensive linemen injured in the first month and 4 offensive linemen the last two weeks after left tackle Laremy Tunsil the highest paid left tackle in the NFL was ruled out the last two weeks.

Game Recap: MIAMI-Denver doesn't have three of their top four safeties with starting strong safety Caden Sterns, starting free safety Justin Simmons, and J.L. Skinner one of the backup safeties is out. Frank Clark is out at 3-4 left outside linebacker while Greg Dulcich is out at tight end. Baron Browning, a backup 3-4 outside linebacker is also out for Denver with the Broncos being extremely thin at edge outside of Randy Gregory at 3-4 right outside linebacker. Miami doesn't have Jaylen Waddle at wide receiver this week, but gets Terron Armstead back at left tackle making the Miami Dolphins offensive line fully healthy for the first time this season despite the absence of Waddle. Jalen Ramsey and Cam Smith are out at cornerback. Miami still has Xavien Howard playing field cornerback despite not practicing on Wednesday with Kader Kohoo and Eli Apple complimenting him against Denver's formidable wide receiver trio.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw a touchdown pass to Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Tyreek Hill carved Denver's number five safety on this depth chart with a huge touchdown. Miami led 7-0.

Miami Dolphins running back Devon Achane the Miami Dolphins 2023 third round pick out of Texas A&M got his first career rushing touchdown. Miami led 14-0.

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson threw a touchdown pass to Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton who carved Miami Dolphins field cornerback Xavien Howard whose playing with an injury. Miami led 14-7.

Tua Tagovailoa threw a backwards shovel pass. Tua Tagoavailoa is now 12/12 with 155 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Miami led 21-7.

A second Courtland Sutton touchdown got overturned. Denver Broncos kicker Will Lutz made a field goal. Miami led 21-10.

Tua Tagaovailoa improved to 16/16 with 206 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions at the two minute warning. That's crazy. Miami got a rushing touchdown. Miami led 28-10.

Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert got a rushing touchdown. Miami led 35-10.

An illegal shift penalty negated a Jerry Jeudy touchdown. Will Lutz made another field goal before halftime. Miami led 35-13 at halftime.

Miami got not one, but two touchdowns in the third quarter. Miami led 42-13 at one point in the third quarter, but then led 49-13 after three quarters of play.

Miami got another touchdown in the fourth quarter. Miami led 56-13.

Both teams kept trading scores in the fourth quarter. Miami won 70-20.

Denver Broncos 3-4 middle linebacker Josey Jewell left this game injured and did not return. Miami Dolphins 3-4 left outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips, Miami's 2021 first round pick also left this game injured and did not return.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa went 23/26 had 309 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane had 18 carries, 203 rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, 4 receptions on 4 targets, 30 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns, 22 touches, 233 total yards, and 4 total touchdowns. Miami's offensive line paved the way for 376 passing yards, 350 rushing yards, and 726 total yards while giving up no sacks in Terron Armsteads first game back from an injury at left tackle.

Miami's offensive line has Terron Armstead at left tackle, Isaiah Wynn at left guard, Connor Williams at center, Robert Hunt at right guard, and Austin Jackson at right tackle. This offensive line dealt with injuries and the liability that was Liam Eichenberg at left guard. Now with the addition of Wynn and Armstead back, Miami produced 726 total yards, 5 passing touchdowns, 5 rushing touchdowns, and 10 total touchdowns in their first game as a unit.

I will go with De'Von Achane as my player of the game since the rookie blew me away. You can make an equally strong argument for Tua Tagovailoa as Miami's offensive line dominated despite the absence of Jaylen Waddle.

The good news for Miami is their offense will be at full health if Jaylen Waddle is cleared to play in week 4. The bad news is the Miami Dolphins head to Buffalo for a huge game that will decide who controls the AFC East Division in 2023.

There is no good news for Denver as the Denver Broncos defense gave up 726 total yards which is the most in league history for a single NFL team. The Broncos drop to 0-3 and it got to the tipping point where Denver Broncos left tackle Garrett Bolles was crying because he's been a part of zero winning seasons in seven years as the Denver Broncos left tackle. Justin Herbert went 40/47 with 405 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Justin Herbert dominated this game despite the fact that Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore called 47 passing plays and 15 running plays.

Game Recap: NEW YORK-New England still has Christian Gonzalez their 2023 first round pick at cornerback and number one cornerback healthy. His supporting cast at cornerback including Jack Jones, Jonathan Jones, and Marcus Jones are all out with injuries with Jack Jones on injured reserve for two more weeks and Marcus Jones on injured reserve for at least four more weeks. New York lost Aaron Rodgers in week 1 and left tackle Duane Brown is out this week. New York will move Mekhi Becton from right tackle to left tackle, Laken Tomlinson will remain at left guard, Connor McGovern will remain at center, New York's 2023 second round pick Joe Tippman a center out of Wisconsin starts at right guard, and right guard Alijah Vera-Tucker moves to right tackle where he had success in a few games at right tackle before a season ending injury. Game Recap: LAS VEGAS-Pittsburgh will play their second game without Diontae Johnson at wide receiver and Cam Heyward at 3-4 right end. Pittsburgh promoted Matt Canada despite the defense bailing out this offense due to brilliant execution by Mike Tomlin compensating for god awful play calling on offense by Canada. Las Vegas still doesn't have Chandler Jones at 4-3 right end, but looks pretty healthy for the most part.

That was the year the Pittsburgh Steelers made Super Bowl 45 before losing to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in Dallas Texas. Pittsburgh won't have to worry about Aaron Rodgers if they can manage to win the NFC.

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace was my player of the game. Levi Wallace had 4 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, 6 total tackles, 4 deflections from pass breakups, and 2 interceptions. He got injured for a few plays, but returned to the game before recording the second interception of this contest for Pittsburgh.

Game Recap: TAMPA BAY-Philadelphia will not have slot receiver Quez Watkins. Avonte Maddox is out for the year at nickel cornerback, but James Bradberry was cleared to play as was free safety Reed Blankenship. Nakobe Dean is still injured at middle linebacker. Calijah Kancey, Tampa Bay's 2023 first round pick is out again for the second consecutive week after being cleared to play in week 1 at the last minute.

Tampa Bay got the ball to start this game. Baker Mayfield threw a first down to Chris Olave to get the first third down conversion of this game. Baker threw an accurate ball to Mike Evans on third down, but Mike Evans had a rare drop on third and eight which fored Tampa Bay to punt it to Philadelphia.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Zyon McCollum broke up a pass on third and two. Tampa Bay made a huge fourth down stop on fourth and two.

D'Andre Swift got Philadelphia into field goal range. Philadelphia led 3-0.

Philadelphia Eagles 4-3 defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu sacked Baker Mayfield on second down. Baker Mayfield threw it away on third and thirteen. Philadelphia led 3-0 after one quarter of play.

Tampa Bay almost got a touchdown. Philadelphia Eagles rookie safety Sydney Brown kept Mike Evans in check on third down. Mike Evans dropped the deflection in the end zone thanks to the zone coverage Brown played which is what Sydney Brown was famous for at Illinois. Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Chase McLaughlin made a field goal. This game was tied 3-3.

Jalen Hurts threw a twenty four yard completion to Olamide Zaccheaus. Kenneth Gainwell ran for one on his second touch of the night. Jalen Hurts threw a first down to A.J. Brown. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown pass to Philadelphia Eagles slot receiver Olamide Zaccheaus. Philadelphia led 10-3.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3-4 middle linebacker Devin White intercepted Jalen Hurts in a first and goal situation for the Philadelphia Eagles. Philaelphia Eagles 4-3 defensive tackle Jalen Carter forced a fumble stripping the football on Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White which was recovered by Philadelphia Eagles boundary cornerback James Bradberry.

Jake Elliott made a field goal. Philadelphia led 13-3 at halftime.

Philadelphia put a 13 play 75 yard drive that lasted five minutes and forty six seconds. Jalen Hurts tried to scramble into the end zone on third and goal before getting stopped. Jalen Hurts scrambled for a rushing touchdown on fourth and goal. Philadelphia led 20-3.

Philadelphia Eagles left guard Landon Dickerson left the game injured. Landon Dickerson did not return to the game which leaves a hole in this offensive line if he's out for any significant period.

Jalen Hurts threw another interception. Philadelphia Eagles 4-3 right outside linebacker Nicholas Morrow tackled Rachaad White for a safety. Philadelphia led 22-3 after three quarters of play.

Jake Elliott made another field goal. Philadelphia led 25-3.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield threw a touchdown pass to Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans. Baker Mayfield threw a two point conversion to Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin. Philadelphia won 25-11.

The Philadelphia Eagles had a number of players that warranted consideration for player of the game. You could make the case for quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back D'Andre Swift, wide receiver A.J. Brown, center Jason Kelce, defensive tackle Jalen Carter, cornerback Darius Slay, cornerback James Bradberry, or free safety Reed Blankenship. Hurts still exceeded 300 total yards despite throwing 2 interceptions with the flu, but I went with D'Andre Swift once again as my player of the game for the second week in a row.

Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift was my player of the game. D'Andre Swift had 16 carries, 130 rushing yards, 1 reception on 2 targets, 8 receiving yards, 17 touches, and 138 total yards. Swift dropped one pass and didn't get in the end zone. He accumulated the most total yards on offense thanks to this offensive line.

Game Recap: CINCINNATI-Los Angeles has two more games without Super Bowl 56 MVP Cooper Kupp at wide receiver. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati's quarterback in Super Bowl 56 is a game-time decision for week 3 as well.

Los Angeles was 0/6 on third down conversions and had their first third down conversion before Los Angeles Rams right guard Tremayne Anchrum Jr. had a facemask penalty to negate the Rams first third down conversion. Sam Hubbard made the tackle and the Los Angeles Rams went 0/7 on third down conversions. Cincinnati led 16-9 after three quarters of play.

Joe Burrow threw a completion to Tyler Boyd on third down. Joe Mixon got a fourth down conversion. Los Angeles Rams cornerback Akhello Witherspoon intercepted Joe Burrow.

Los Angeles attempted a third down conversion. Cincinnati Bengals 4-3 defensive tackle B.J. Hill sacked Matthew Stafford on third down. Los Angeles was now 0/8 on third down conversions. Charlie Jones had a 19 yard punt return.

Evan McPherson made another field goal. Cincinnati led 19-9.

Los Angeles had another failed third down conversion. Los Angeles was 0/9 on third down conversions.

Matthew Stafford overthrew Van Jeferson. The Rams failed to get a third down conversion dropping to 0/10. Matthew Stafford scrambled. Cincinnati Bengals 4-3 left end Sam Hubbard lined up at 4-3 right end and abused Los Angeles Rams backup left tackle Alaric Jackson. Los Angeles finally ended their third down drought to get to 1/11 on third down conversions. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford threw a touchdown pass to Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tutu Atwell. Cincinnati won 19-16.

Cincinnati Bengals 4-3 middle linebacker Logan Wilson had 2 interceptions and was my initial choice for player of the game, but I couldn't find his photo. That means Wilson gets an honorable mention and Hubbard gets player of the game.
