New England got good field position due to a New York Jets penalty. New York Jets 4-3 left end Will McDonald IV sacked Jacoby Brissett. New England Patriots kicker Joey Slye made a field goal. New York led 14-3.

Aaron Rodgers threw a completion to Mike Williams on third down. Aaron Rodgers tried to get a touchdown to Mike Williams. New England Patriots boundary cornerback Jonathan Jones broke up the pass on third down. New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein made a field goal. New York led 24-3.

New York Jets 4-3 defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw sacked Jacoby Brissett on third down. New England punted it back to New York.

Drake Maye came into the game. The third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft showed some promise. Drake Maye got sacked, but he did well in limited action. Drake Maye gives the New England Patriots a better chance to win than Jacoby Brissett, but New England's offensive line is going through a lot despite Caedan Wallace showing promise at left tackle. New York won 24-3.

The New York Jets offensive line gets an honorable mention on offense. New York's offensive line helped Aaron Rodgers dominate in the passing game while also helping the New York Jets running backs get 123 rushing yards. New York Jets left tackle Tyron Smith, New York Jets left guard John Simpson, New York Jets center Joe Tippman, New York Jets right guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, and New York Jets right tackle Morgan Moses all did well. Morgan Moses did get injured near the end of this game, but New York Jets 2024 first round pick Olumuyiwa Fashanu came in for a few plays at right tackle once Morgan Moses got injured.

New York Jets 4-3 right end Will McDonald IV the New York Jets 2023 first round pick gets the honorable mention on defense. After coming in for an injured Jermaine Johnson II having 3 sacks against the Tennesee Titans in week 2, he had 2 sacks against the New England Patriots in week 3.

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was my player of the game. Aaron Rodgers went 27/35 with 281 passing yards, 18 rushing yards, 299 total yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. Aaron Rogders also finished this game 6/6 when throwing on the run, so even though he didn't reach 300 total yards falling short of that mark by a freaking yard he looked good. Aaron Rodgers was making plays he made in his twenties when he was still in his prime in this game. That's the biggest reason the New York Jets won, and if that continues the New York Jets will be a threat to win games moving forward.

Game Recap: CLEVELAND-Jack Conklin remains out. Jedrick Wills Jr. the Cleveland Browns 2020 first round pick could be back at left tackle for the Cleveland Browns.

The New York Giants fumbled the kickoff. Cleveland recovered the fumble on the kickoff intended for the New York Giants.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson threw a 24 yard touchdown pass to Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper despite bad pass protection from Cleveland Browns left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. who is making his debut of the year. Cleveland led 7-0.

Daniel Jones threw a screen pass on third and eleven. Cleveland made a defensive stop.

Deshaun Watson got sacked on third down. New York got the football back.

Daniel Jones started this game 1/1, but Daniel Jones threw an incomplete pass to Jalin Hyatt overthrowing his man in coverage. Daniel Jones finished the first quarter 7/8 with 75 passing yards. New York Giants running back Devin Singletary got a rushing touchdown. This game was tied 7-7.

Nabers did a phenomenal job fighting for the football on a pass Daniel Jones underthrew that should have been intercepted by Martin Emerson Jr. You cannot fault Cleveland Browns boundary cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. Just a phenomenal job by the New York Giants flanker wide receiver on that play. New York Giants nickel cornerback Dru Phillips the New York Giants 2024 third round pick got injured. New York Giants 3-4 left outside linebacker Brian Burns strip sacked Deshaun Watson. The New York Giants recovered the football.

Brian Burns nearly intercepted Deshaun Watson after demonstrating superb zone coverage on third down. The Cleveland Browns are paying for the Cleveland Guardians winning the AL Central.

New York Giants free safety Jason Pinnock lined up at strong safety and sacked Deshaun Watson on third down. That was the sixth sack of the day that the Cleveland Browns allowed. Dustin Hopkins missed a 53 yard field goal. Neither team scored in the third quarter. New York led 21-7 after three quarters of play.

Daniel Jones threw an incomplete pass on third down instead of bleeding the clock. New York punted it back to Cleveland.

Cleveland Browns 4-3 right end Myles Garrett went down with an injury after Daniel Jones scrambled for a first down. That would be a massive loss for a Cleveland Browns team that is already crippled by injuries. Even with the Cleveland Browns current depth at defensive end, I cannot see the Browns making the playoffs without Myles Garrett.

The bad news is the Cleveland Browns had a turnover after blowing an opportunity to gain the lead. The good news is Myles Garrett was cleared to return to the game after getting dinged up. Myles Garrett's foot injury will require an MRI.

Cleveland Browns left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. left this game with an injury and did not return. Cleveland Browns backup left tackle James Hudson and Cleveland Browns right guard Wyatt Teller also left this game with injuries and did not return. Jameis Winston came in, but New York Giants 3-4 right outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux tackled him.

Cleveland burned all of their timeouts. Greg Joseph missed a field goal as the New York Giants backup kicker as his field goal attempt went wide right.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper got injured. His backup wide receiver Cedric Tillman dropped a pass on fourth down.

Devin Singletary nearly had a rushing touchdown, but he went down at the one yard line. This game went to the two minute warning making it first and goal with the Cleveland Browns officially out of timeouts.

Both quarterbacks avoided interceptions. Daniel Jones had more passing yards than Deshaun Watson with Daniel Jones going 24/34 with 236 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 0 interceptions while Deshaun Watson went 21/37 with 196 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. Watson fumbled the football twice and the New York Giants recovered the fumble on both times. This was the difference in a close ball game. I was going to give a wide receiver Malik Nabers or Amari Cooper player of the game regardless of who won since both wide receivers had 2 receiving touchdowns. With the New York Giants winning, Malik Nabers wins player of the game.

Game Recap: INDIANAPOLIS-Caleb Williams heads to Indianapolis. Keenan Allen is out at wide receiver for the second week in a row for the Chicago Bears. Anthony Richardson is looking for his first win in 2024. Anthony Richardson will have Josh Downs back at wide receiver. Indianapolis will have their offense at full health for the first time all season despite having some injuries on defense.

Chicago got the ball to start this game. Chicago went for it on fourth and one. Caleb Williams threw a screen pass to D.J. Moore as Chicago improved to 4/5 on fourthdown conversions. Indianapolis pressured Caleb Williams on third and six. Cairo Santos missed a field goal before the Indianapolis Colts mascot mortified me with brazilian twerking.

Indianapolis couldn't do anything on their first drive punting the football back to Chicago. Chicago got a second chance to get the first points in this contest.

Chicago Bears 4-3 middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds intercepted Anthony Richardson. That was a huge break for Chicago as Indianapolis was in the red zone approaching the goal line.

The Indianpapolis Colts offensive line gets an honorable mention on offense. Indianapolis Colts left tackle Bernard Raimann, Indianapolis Colts left guard Quinton Nelson, Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly, Indianapolis Colts right guard Will Fries, and Indianapolis Colts right tackle Braden Smith all dominated in pass protection as these five entered the game with the best pass blocking offensive line in the NFL. These guys helped the Indianapolis Colts running game generate 150 total rushing yards on the ground which is why the Indianapolis Colts get an honorable mention.

Jonathan Taylor had 23 carries, 110 rushing yards, 1 reception on 2 targets, 25 receiving yards, 24 touches, 135 total yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns. Jonathan Taylor was the reason the Indianapolis Colts prevailed today. Jonathan Taylor is now 7th in the NFL with 261 rushing yards through the first three weeks of the season according to Draft Utopia Insider Wes Langley.

Game Recap: MINNESOTA-Houston heads to Minnesota. Houston will not have Joe Mixon or Dameon Pierce at running back. Minnesota will not have Jordan Addison at wide receiver.

Jonathan Taylor also surpassed MarshalL Faulk in career touchdowns with the Indianapolis Colts.

Game Recap: NEW ORLEANS-A.J. Brown is out for the second week in a row at wide receiver. Marshon Lattimore is expected to return at cornerback.

New Orleans Saints center Erik McCoy left this game with an injury on the opening drive. Blake Grupe's field goal hit the post, but I guess it went in. New Orleans led 3-0 after one quarter of play.

Neither team scored in the second quarter despite New Orleans intercepting Jalen Hurts. New Orleans led 3-0 at halftime.

New Orleans Saints 4-3 defensive tackle Bryan Bresse whose filling in for Khalen Saunders at defensive tackle sacked Jalen Hurts on third down. New Orleans needs to play their 2023 first round pick more frequently. The decision to leave him on the bench was kind of puzzling. I can honeslty see Bresse taking that starting defensive tackle spot from Saunders if he keeps this level of play up.

New Orleans blocked a punt on fourth down. New Orleans got the football into field goal range. New Orleans led 3-0 after three quarters of play.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith is now injured. Both of Jalen Hurts top two wide receivers are now injured. Philadelphia Eagles starting right guard Mekhi Becton and Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson also left this game with injuries and did not return.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had a 65 yard rushing touchdown. Philadelphia led 7-3.

Philadelphia Eagles field cornerback Darius Slay broke up a pass ihtended for Rashid Shaheed. That deflection prevented a New Orleans touchdown. Blake Grupe got another field goal. Philadelphia led 7-6.

Jalen Hurts scrambled for some yards despite good pass protection. Jalen Hurts threw a first down to Dallas Goedert to get Philadelphia into field goal range.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr threw a touchdown pass to New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave. New Orleans led 12-7.

Jalen Hurts threw a huge first down to Dallas Goedert which made it first and goal. Saquon Barkley got another rushing touchdown before Barkley ran it into the end zone for a two point conversion. Philadelphia won 15-12.

Both teams starting running backs rank among the four in rushing yards. New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara still ranks fourth in the NFL in rushing yards with 285 rushing yards on the year.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was my player of the game. Saquon Barkley had 17 carries, 147 rushing yards, 4 receptions on 4 targets, 9 receiving yards, 21 touches, 156 total yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns. Saquon Barkley leads the NFL with 351 rushing yards and he's the only running back outside of J.K. Dobbins to finish as the player of the game for multiple games this NFL season.

Game Recap: PITTSBURGH-Los Angeles will not have Josh Palmer or D.J. Chark at wide receiver. Pittsburgh will not have Troy Fautaunu at right tackle as the Pittsburgh Steelers 2024 first round pick was placed on injured reserve yesterday. Troy Fautanu is having knee surgery and will be out for the regular season, but could be back this season if the Pittsburgh Steelers make this years NFL Playoffs.

Justin Herbert threw a fourteen yard completion to Ladd McConkey, but a holding penalty negated a first down. Los Angeles ended up punting the football back to Pittsburgh.

Los Angeles Chargers 3-4 left outside linebacker Khalil Mack sacked Justin Fields. Pittsburgh had -5 total yards on offense after that sack. Both teams punted the football away on their first two drives.

Justin Fields tried to throw a touchdown to Calvin Austin III, but Justin Fields overthrew it on third and thirteen. Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell made a 62 yard field goal. This game was tied 10-10.

Justin Fields threw an interception after the Los Angeles Chargers failed to take the lead. Los Angeles got the ball back.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was a game time decision day playing through a right ankle injury. Pittsburgh Steelers 3-4 right outside linebacker Nick Herbert came in for Alex Highsmith who got injured at 3-4 right outside linebacker and sacked Justin Herbert who was slow to get up. Justin Herbert re-aggrevated that right ankle after limping off the field on the very next play. Taylor Heinicke the backup quarterback on the Los Angeles Chargers came into the game.

Derwin James sacked Justin Fields again on second down. That set up a third and long. Justin Fields threw a completion to George Pickens on third down. This game was tied 10-10 after three quarters of play.

Chris Boswell made a field goal. Pittsburgh led 13-10.

Pittsburgh Steelers field cornerback Joey Porter Jr. tackled J.K. Dobbins for a loss. Pittsburgh Steelers 3-4 left outside linebacker T.J. Watt got back rookie Joe Alt to get his 99.5 sack. He has a chance to exceed 100 sacks before turning 30. The last pass rusher to do that was Reggie White on the Green Bay Packers.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields threw a touchdown pass to Pittsburgh Steelers slot receiver Calvin Austin III. Pittsburgh led 20-10.

Pittsburgh Steelers 3-4 right end Cameron Heyward sacked Taylor Heinicke. T.J. Watt also gang sacked Heincike along with Heyward, so that gang sack gets T.J. Watt to 100 career sacks. Heyward got credit for that sack, but Watt didn't, so Watt is still at 99.5 sacks. Pittsburgh's defense has allowed 10 points or less in their first three NFL games. That's the best start by an NFL defense in the past twenty years. Pittsburgh won 20-10.

Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins ranks third in the NFL with 310 rushing yards despite the loss. J.K. Dobbins will be tested now more than ever if Justin Herbert misses any extensive time.

Pittsburgh Steelers center Zach Frazier was my player of the game. Zach Frazier the Pittsburgh Steelers 2024 second round pick out of West Virginia stepped up after Pittsburgh Steelers 2024 first round pick Troy Fautanu went on injured resrve at right tackle. Zach Frazier didn't give up a single sack and helped Justin Fields throw for 245 passing yards. Pittsburgh also had 114 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdown. Zach Frazier had a 95.5 pass blocking grade as well as a 97.3 run blocking grade according to Pro Football Focus.
